I Had An Idea Based Off Of A Dream Again.

I'm thinking Jack, because he knows that can't by games or toys, that stuff can't go with them into an alternate dimension, so he likes to laugh as Zvezda tries to get Luna to let him buy the teddy bear.

Luna would rather be anywhere else, because between Jack being a dink, Neggero/Negra passing out in the car, and Kolasi fussing over supplies, she's the one who has to keep Zvezda from buying the whole toy isle while simultaneously keeping Jack from encouraging Kolasi to overspend on food and clothes.

Rise of the guardians headcanon.

Jack can fall asleep in any position, and on pretty much anything.

Jack even falls asleep standing up sometimes. Or perched on something, like a bird.

Now someone please go write a story of the guardians finding Jack sleeping in weird places.

Or a rise of the brave tangle dragons fic where they find Jack asleep in strange places.

Favourite thing: When a character finds out just how badly someone they care about has suffered and you can see the immediate shift from shock/horror into a fierce, protective anger.

if someone close to you is disabled, you have to take that into account when you go places with them. you have to think about accessibility, fatigue, pain, flare ups, etc because its exhausting and hurtful when people who say they love you dont bother putting the effort in to make sure you ACTUALLY have a good time.

[update: i made this post in the spur of the moment after my family did something very inconsiderate & hurtful while we were on vacation, and I was very upset and angry at how abled people treat disabled people, hence the "abled people are required to reblog" thing. I was not expecting this amount of traction, and I've removed that now, because a lot of people dislike the guilt tripping. I did not mean it to be guilt-tripping, i was upset and angry.]

I would hype it up more but this is really really simple. It randomly generates a set of symbols, colors, and a word, and then the expected thing to do with those is you draw some sort of character based off the result you get. So it's just an art challenge toy thingy.

There are also some practical features like you can lock parts of the result in place to rerandomize the rest, or hide parts of the generation you don't care about (like if you want to pick your own colors or hate the words being there)

It should run in browser, but there's also a downloadable version for Windows if you want to use it offline. (No mac/linux versions for now, because I don't have appropriate computers to test those on and I...don't want to deal with mac's developer accounts or whatever their problem is...)

Blue head canon that is 100% me projecting:

Blue sometimes gets so viscerally angry that he gets close to passing out. Like; head spinning, nausea, vision fuzzing. He can normally keep people from noticing by storming off or just making himself look as big and angry as possible with a 'barely internal' scream and people will take the sudden quiet the light-headedness causes as him keeping himself from saying something he'll regret.

It got so bad that he actually made the person he was angry at (probably Shadow) very concerned because he actually looked all dizzy and had to sit down to keep from passing out.

Also if he's angry for long enough, particularly active and angry, he ends up spending the rest of the day or week- depending on how long he was angry and active for -really drained both emotionally and physically.

This is deeply concerning to the people who know about it. Which isn't many lol.

I like to think that after the events of the manga he did start to mellow out a bit, which was helped by the week long exhaustion that came with spending the entire journey with a lit fuse. Blowing up at everyone for every reason is bad for his health.

omg yessssss!!!!!

I had a dream last night where Blue adopted a kid that he found lost out in the woods that turns out to have a whole bunch of shadow powers and magic and stuff and he’s like “huh, that’s weird. Did I adopt a reborn Shadow???” (Cause the kids appearance and age line up with when Shadow died)

And he spends a little while getting used to having this kid in his house and trying to introduce the other Links to him but they never have time.

He even named the kid… I forget the actual name but it translates to “shadow” or “little dreamer” or something. Cause he does recognize he’s a different person even if he is raising him with Shadow in mind on a lot of this stuff.

He even goes to one of those new parents things (kid’s like… 6-or-7 but still) to learn how tf he’s supposed to parent, and asks his father (who is hella suspicious but happy to talk about it) for advice.

Then Shadow is successfully brought back by Vio and Vio finally goes over to visit Blue like “hey sorry this is why I was so busy but Shadow’s back.” and Blue’s just like “…what?”

And then Vio and Shadow are both like “what why do you have a demon toddler in your home.” And blue’s like “fuck you that is my son.” And they’re both like “w h a t.”

And it was really cute and yeah :)
