the first iteration of my username was "rainelynn" (just bc it sounded nice). and then i trans'd and 'raine' made me dysphoric so "rainncoats" bc it sounded cute. and then "rainncoats" alone was taken on instagram and i wanted a cohesive name across all platforms so "rainncoater". simply a progression 😭

it's funny bc i don't wear raincoats. they're too gimmicky for me. just soak me wet idfc #fevercore

yeah so i feel u on that, except i feel like it's a general lack of awareness for me. one of my very good friends now, was in my class for 3 years. i did not notice him for all 3 years! funnily enough we only started talking online AFTER we stopped being in the same class 😭

come to think of it i made more than half of my friends via online chatting first despite seeing them every day in person...
