Hot Take On The Minecraft Movie

So, everyone knows about the Minecraft movie that came out a few days ago. I haven't seen it myself but I have seen trailers and clips of it. My honest opinion is that the blocks could've made the movie better if they were removed.

I know Minecraft is known for being a block game but I feel like the movie looks bad with those features. I believe the movie could've been better if it was like a fantasy survival movie. We would be able to tell it's Minecraft already with just the words "Warden" or "Nether" or any mob or aspect from the game.

TL;DR : The Minecraft Movie could look better if everything wasn't blocks and looked more like a fantasy survival kind of movie.

EDIT (Apr. 10th.) : Now I realized that the movie was supposed to be for kids. So, I guess my hot take can be used in a more mature version of the Minecraft movie.
