April's petname for donnie is sugerplum, Donnie's for her is queenbee

Pretty much act exactly as they did as friends just mushy every now and then(it's rare)

Some highlights include:

Donnie not realizing he's been staring at her for an hour, long after she's finished talking until Leo poured water on him "cool off Romeo"

April actually getting flustered once when he laughed at a joke she told

Sappily saying how much they adore each other(note: it's an exaggerated joke they like because it sickens Leo, they will follow him just to make him suffer)

The rare case where Donnie allowed her to hold him after having nightmares of his past trauma(Shredder/kraang/losing leo)

The very very rare case where April was scared and asked Donnie if he'd stay outside her apartment and watch for threats(he stayed the whole night and passed out on the roof)

Since Donnie doesn't like touch they just hold hands a lot of the time(which still took time)

She's only held him once

Neither of them get jealous, they trust each other fully

now being protective is another subject-

He may or may not have also put a tracker on April(pre-relationship) and set it so if she's ever in danger it'll automatically send her location like a flood warning

And she may or may not call Donnie constantly if he's alone to make sure he's ok(girls types/calls fast)

Oh and she totally didn't hide the coffee and other energy drinks so Donnie wouldn't down it and stay up for days, nope, wasn't her.

And Donnie absolutely didn't install a defense system in her, her dad's and mom's bed so if she's ever broken into it'll defeat the criminal while keeping her and family safe, nope, definitely not him.

Donnie has thought up a lot of ways to protect her but Leo stops him by saying it's "to far" or "your gonna scare her to death"

April's that one gag where Donnie will be standing near an enemy and she's right behind him, her presence being enough to scare them from hurting her Turtle

Their favorite dates are watching (making fun of) romance comedies, playing video games, and dinner dates(mikey makes them a fancy meal and the eat it in the living room)

Their definitely not the "I'll love you a thousands life times" kind of couple,

They are the "gasoline runs through my veins, and your the lighter" kind

Seriously their more of a threat then the villains, thank God their good guys-

Literally the sappiest thing either of them say that isn't a joke to torture leo is

April constantly telling Donnie she needs him and he's useful(he needs it, poor boy 😭)

Donnie hyping her up like it's a wrestling match, he once threatened to meat-sweats that April could break his back in seconds(girl could do it tho)

just a fun little project, pretty much! possibly gonna become a game or vn, possibly just going to be a massive fic with accompanying art, but whatever it ends up being, so much love is going into it that it's a blast.

Currently it's in its very early stages, but I can give a full teaser and summary here:

Juusandom. A Netherworld cluster that exists beyond time, beyond space, beyond the reach of any regular demon. Split into thirteen territories, two in particular often come into conflict…

Absidion. The country of black. A wild and ruinous place, a Netherworld built for a real demon's demon. Its Emperor is beyond a tyrant, instead boasting his status as something far more unpredictable. Much of its territory is filled with the ruined homes of former inhabitants, as the bulk of Absidion's land was snatched from the control of its neighbour. There is beauty in the untamed, even with the obvious dangers posed to the weak. Survival of the fittest reigns supreme here.

Elebestar. The country of white. A peaceful and well-cultivated theocracy, at the very peak of which rules a benevolent Emperor. Tensions flare at borders, where land is claimed and made ashen by the brutes of the neighbouring country. Even so, people's needs rarely go unfulfilled here, and those who live in Elebestar are happy in their captivity. For make no mistake, they are captive as they come. Those who live within Elebestar know their lives will end when their rulers call for it. A gilded cage for a willing livestock. Is that any way to live?

Absidion and Elebestar, political rivals and tactical nemeses. Emperor Fornelius, the Primordial Chaos that seeks desolation, and Emperor Benetrectus, the Sublime Archdevil that seeks eternity. One knows nothing beyond lust for power and destruction. One knows nothing but a craving for control. At odds with one another, their conflict has spanned millennia. Territory claimed under the banner of Fornelius is tainted in black, and this stain cannot be removed.

For the time being, there is stalemate. After reaching the limits of his siege's power, Fornelius has ceased his advance for now. And after losing three of his four "children" to the Black Emperor's sealing power, Benetrectus has pivoted to doting on his youngest "daughter" while she remains with him.

Fortebracciiio, the Third Child, stands at her "father's" side as Empress. And beside Fornelius? Discordia, Primordial Temptation. It is by her hand that the advance was orchestrated, and it is by her hand that it is paused. One could perhaps name her "Mastermind" in this tale… if that title didn't fall to another.

...Sooooo, that out of the way. Set in a pair of warring Netherworlds in the Netherworld Cluster of Juusandom, Makai Gambit is an in-universe spectacle, advertised as a sort of battle royale created by a third party to end the conflict once and for all. Through a strange power, figures from throughout the Makaiverse's history are summoned to play the role of 'Piece Incarnations' to help settle the score.

'Piece Incarnations' is a term created by the capricious, mysterious organiser of Makai Gambit. A Piece Incarnation is a being summoned in place of an official for the territory rulers, taking up the 'role' of a chess piece.

Piece Incarnations cannot kill other Piece Incarnations of the same legion, nor can they land a finishing blow on the Emperors / Empresses. Piece Incarnations, however, can kill any normal inhabitants of Juusandom. The only option they have is to unite with those on the same side as them, and aim for the win condition...

Kill the opposing King Piece.

The pieces do not choose to be here. They do not really want to be here. Mostly, they just want to go home and get back to their loved ones. Some are willing to go to more extreme lengths than others to get back home.

disgaea 4 was the first game in the series where i was there as a fan to see the buildup to release and it's so funny bc like. ok so if ur not a disgaea fan the way new games have consistently been revealed is harada will draw a postcard of some of the main cast and nis will just post it with no elaboration months before the game is announced in proper so when we saw this

everyone thought valvatorez was going to be this super edgy emo sexy vampire archetype (and remember this was 2010 which was like, the heyday of twilight's popularity) so can you imagine how hilarious it was to us when he turned out to be this super loud flamboyant goofball who gets really passionate about sardines and pretty openly cares very deeply for other people

Honestly? My main piece of advice for writing well-rounded characters is to make them a little bit lame. No real living person is 100% cool and suave 100% of the time. Everyone's a little awkward sometimes, or gets too excited about something goofy, or has a silly fear, or laughs about stupid things. Being a bit of a loser is an incurable part of the human condition. Utilize that in your writing.

After getting hit with a strange chemical fighting the purple dragons; mikey goes full wild beat and it's up to the boys to bring him to his senses (There's a gag where he keeps eating chairs) •mostly comedy/some blood

Maze-mania-

The boys get trapped/separated in a large maze and soon go off the wall insane trying to find each other

•dark somedy/a lot of mental trauma stuff

Wrestle your feathers-

Donnie and raph partner up in tech/wrestling tourney, excited to be spending time together doing what they love(Dee building armour, raph punching guys) but things take a turn when raph refuses to stop "babying" Donnie over his shell •family drama/angst

Little job of horrors-

Donnie gets tired of being the only tech wiz so he soon job hunts and finds a place perfect for him, until he slowly starts isolating himself from the boys and he seems sickly...

•implied death/hallucinations/mind control/much blood
