Jimmy being an amazing friend
Hello ๐
Please take a moment to read my story.
I am Heba Al-Dahdouh. I currently live in the completely destroyed city of Gaza. Since the war on Gaza began on 7/1/2024, my family- my father Nasif, my mother Asmaa, and my siblings Khaled, Ahmad, Muhammad, and Malak-have been living in constant fear, crying, and suffering due to shrapnel, shells, and bullets.
We have no food, no electricity, no cooking gas, no schools, no homes, no cleaning supplies, and no clothes. Our house was completely destroyed. My school has been bombed, and my brother Khaled's university is now rubble, depriving us all of education. The war has forced us to live in displacement centers, which are just tents unsuitable for living, especially in winter.
Every day we live death, terror, and panic a thousand times because of the ongoing bombardment of my city. The war has killed more than 50 of my relatives and neighbors. At the start of the war, we sought refuge at my aunt's house, but it too became rubble. Imagine: we have survived imminent death more than 20 times and have been displaced among shelters more than 13 times. My siblings and I have suffered from many illnesses due to malnutrition, and we need medication continuously.
If we stay in Gaza, we might lose our lives. Recently, we have been seriously considering leaving Gaza for a safe place. However, travel costs are extremely high. We need over $50,000 to leave Gaza. Due to exorbitant prices, rampant unemployment, lack of security, the ongoing siege, and relentless bombardment, we have lost all our money. How can we live in such insecurity, with constant shelling and shrapnel flying above us? Dear compassionate friends around the world,
With your generous donations, even if small, you can save 7 people from imminent death, allowing us to start a life outside Gaza filled with love, peace, and hope.
With my warmest regards from the city of Gaza,
Heba Al-Dahdouh.
Hello, my name is Areej Kassab. Iโm a 27-year-old English teacher and writer from Gaza, and Iโm reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for support. My family and I are enduring unimaginable hardships as relentless bombings devastate our home and our dreams.
We are a family of 15โ10 adults and 5 children. Every day is a battle for survival. Food is scarce, humanitarian aid is not reaching us, and my little nieces and nephews go to bed hungry. Among them is my sister, who is deaf, and another sister who has a newborn baby. They, too, are suffering in this crisis, and Iโm doing everything I can to protect and provide for them.
๐ A Life in Ruins The war has robbed us of everything: safety, peace, and even the hope of a future here. My familyโs needs are basic yet criticalโfood, clean water, diapers for the babies, gas for cooking, and other essentials to make it through each day.
With rising prices and limited access to necessities, we are struggling to provide even the most basic items. My sisterโs home has been destroyed, and we are working together to ensure everyone has shelter, food, and warmth.
โจ My Plea for Your Support โจ Iโm a writer, and Iโve been documenting the harsh realities faced by my community under siege. But words can only do so much. We need action, and we need help. Your kindness can save us.
๐ How You Can Help
Donate: Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to securing the essentials we desperately need.
Share Our Story: If you canโt donate, please share this post to help us reach others who can.
Your support will help provide food for the children, clean water for my family, and basic supplies to help us survive this unimaginable crisis.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing in solidarity with us. Together, we can create a lifeline for my familyโa chance to live, to dream, and to hope again.
With love and gratitude, Areej Kassab โค๏ธ
My name is Melissa and I am supporting Areej to help her family survive in Gaza and try to evacuate. As the dire situation in Gaza worsens with relentless bombings by Israel, my friend, Areej Kassab, along with her family, urgently need your support. They are in desperate need of safety and security. Areej her family are now attempting to evacuate Gaza for Egypt, where they hope to find refuge. However, crossing the border comes at a steep costโ$5,000-US dollars per person.
Your donation can make a world of difference for Areej and her family. By contributing to their evacuation costs, you are providing them with a chance to find safety and stability. Areej has provided additional details on the costs of evacuation and survival. We need to raise total of $60,000. The evacuation costs for one adult are $5,000 and we are a family of 10 adults, so it's $50,000 and we have 5 children and each one costs $2,000 to evacuate
We will evacuate to Egypt and then we will try to find another country that can adopt my family.
We are hoping that the Rafah border will be opened again soon. If the war ends soon then we will use the funds to rebuild our sister's house and the money will allocated to pay for the essential expenses including food, gas, water, and the necessities for the 5 babies in our family.
Save my children from life's danger ๐ต๐ธ๐
I am the mother of a family consisting of 8 people. I have a little girl who is 14 years old, her name is Farah. Help her to escape from death. She suffers from kidney failure and autism. She is a person with special needs. She has a motor and mental disability. I ask you to contribute to alleviating my suffering. Have a good nightโs sleep, as she does not know how to sleep. I live in Palestine. In Gaza City, amidst the horrors of destruction and hunger that are tearing us apart, and the mysterious and terrifying anxiety, there is a lot of sadness and pain in my country, and fear restricts our thoughts every hour. We wonder: Will we die? Will we live? Will my child die from her chronic illness? Are we all going to die? We are truly suffering. Winter will come, and I will not have a shelter to protect my family
I am a patient with autism and chronic kidney failure. Please, you are my only hope.
I hope to live a decent life and enjoy support and help. The inevitable death befalls me, my family, and my little girl every time and day. She needs permanent treatment, medicines, detergents, diapers, and special food. Kidney disease is a chronic disease to escape dialysis. I have no ability to buy her needs. I am tormented by staying in the hospital permanently. The kidneys evade potassium and air. A dangerous element that leads to death and cardiac arrest
I have been living with an early awareness since her birth of the inevitability of death from this disease, accompanied by the fear of waking up to losing her and losing her life. My little girl is certain that she is heading towards death in the absence of treatment possibilities and the availability of her requirements and that the expected end of her illness journey. I ask God for everyone who helps me not to complain of pain. Sickness, you do not know it. When sickness visits you, the world becomes smaller before your eyes, and all your wishes become insignificant in the face of health, and to see your child playing and enjoying good health. I am looking for someone to help me to alleviate the painful reality. We are suffering from my heartbreak for my sick child. She is lost before my eyes, and my homeland is devastated.
My life before the war was more beautiful. I hope that this pain and injustice that we are exposed to will end. I have the right to live in safety.
