Got Kay's padding done! The belly is just a bit of a legging and stuffing. Her chest is thin foam padding up top (to "shorten" her neck) and the rest is the same materials as her belly. It's all removable, so if I ever want to take some pictures of Amaya again, I can easily swap everything out.

Unfortunately, the only thing I have that fits her right now is the high-waisted pink dress that's a smidge too small for her chest. I'll take more pictures once I get her different clothes.

I really appreciate the eyes on this little guy.

Acetone doesn't work. Maybe soaking it might've, but I didn't want to risk shrinking/warping the head to find out.

A dab of Winsor & Newton brush cleaner, on the other hand, works very well. Even made it easier to magic eraser off the remaining bits. :)

Wonder if the gloss was what was resisting the acetone or the sort of paint they used. Maybe both.

Got the BTS dolls V and Jung Kook since they had the closest faces to the characters I'm going to use them for. Ordered them online since I didn't care that much how off the paint placement was but still a little sad I can't salvage much of it. LA's Totally Awesome did a good job getting rid of whatever product was in their hair, tho.

Tried to remove V's face first. Took 20min with a magic eraser just to get that much off his eye. :/ The rest is on the eye surface and underside of the lash line, so I'll just paint over it.

Luckily his lips seemed to only be two paint layers deep, so it took only a few minutes.

Will definitely be getting more of these boys when they go on sale if only for the sculpts alone.

I realised midway through making him that he kinda looked like a fusion between Billy Hargrove and Eddie Munson from Stranger Things (not why I gave him that name tho, Eddie is just my favorite name).

I modelled his face+painted it, and put it on a Severus snape doll body (that body was way too buff for Snape what the hell), and added monster high hands because the og ones were so VEINY it was really weird looking.

Clothes and accessories were all handmade exepted for the shoes, tattoos on forearms are halloween nails stickers (they make awesome tattoos for doll!).

Honestly, Kingdom Hearts III still just feels like a weird dream.

Like, aw, man, I had this weird dream. Kingdom Hearts III came out, and Vexen was suddenly already a good guy for some reason?

Axel and Saix suddenly had this other friend, and everyone kept talking about her, all the time, but we never saw her.

There was a Toy Story world, and Young Xehanort, like… Split its soul in half? Or something? Somehow?

There was a Frozen world, and, like, none of the locations from the movie were in it? We just kept running back and forth between Arendelle and Elsa’s ice castle without actually ever getting to either of them?
