So.. is it cringy to say im so proud of my Rockstar babies to put such a huge effort into rdr2 and make it the best game ever. And oh god their music is just... not even words can express the way they make you feel.

Marshal Burke x (F)Reader/Rook

Summary: the reader/rookie helps Whitehorse by rescuing Burke from the bliss. When they try to resue him he refuses to go until the reader does something thag pulls him back into reality.

Warnings: slight fluff

"Rookie where are ya" Sheriff Whitehorses voice booms all around the jail, that catches my attention.

"Uh here Sheriff" they call out from the main entrance. The sheriff burstes through the door and looks down at the deputy, who is sitting on the couch.

"Oh thank god... listen I know we just got you out of the bliss but your the strongest we have here" he says quickly

"Well whats going on" they say looking confused as hell as she stands up and faces the sheriff.

"Its time where you meet someone that you know who is in the bliss. They do it to convince you to join the cult through a loved one or someone youre simply close with" Rook follows closely behind the sheriff to outside.

"Wait how do you know" she says still confused.

The sheriff stops dead in his tracks and quickly turns around to face the deputy. "Because there are people here at the jail that have gone through all of this as well... now come on" he says intensly and leads you fo a field of bliss flowers.

"So i need to go back into the bliss to save Burke"

"Correct"

Although the marshal left rookie twice to save himself, she knew the real him. She'd known him since they were kids and they always dreamed of being in the police force togegher. She just knew that burke was scared and panicked when he left. He had suffered head injury from the crash and was confused. But she still felt a little betrayed.

"Listen this is the only was to get you into the bliss by standing in the flowers. I'll stay here with you until you go okay"

"Okay" rook quickly nods. He put a comforting hand on her shoulder and she slightly smiled before heading into the intoxicating flowers. Before she knew she was already starting to feel dizzy until everything was white. Last thing she saw was Faith blowing some bliss into her face.

Rook suddenly opened her eyes to a familiar, yet unfamiliar, place as she stood there looking around at hummingbirds and strikingly blue butterflies. She looks down at here appearance. Her dark brown hair falls loosly over her shoulders reaching the end of her stomach .Shes wearing a black dress with red butterflies on it. She was more expecting to be wearing something more... bliss like.

"Dont you see what were trying to build here..." rookie looks ahead of her to see Faith standing there with an angry but sympathetic expression on her beautiful face. "... or do you just not care"

Okay so since most of us have played the game im gonna just skip this part because we have all seen it and i cant really be bothered saying every little word that Faith says. Hope you understand. Im also gonna change the Marshals words up a bit to make a bit more interesting.

Rook takes Marshals hand and settles down into the boat. He starts to row the boat while staring deeply into Rooks blue, grey eyes, she tries to look away but shes so attracted to his warm brown eyes she cant take her eyes of him.

"I see your not fully purified yet" he says breaking the silence as he looks the deputy over. The deputy must have looked so confused in result of him saying "If you dont have a white dress then your not purified".

"I quess maybe because im not gonna go on some stupid 'walk' to just get tortued" the deputy says harshly. The Marshal looks sad for a second until he just smiles.

"We dont get tortued we just..." he stops mid sentence starting to realise something. Until he suddenly speaks up "yes Faith".

"Burke... whats going on" rookie asks nervously. He rows ths boat quicker and quicker, staring intensly into rookies eyes.

He stops rowing and stares at you for a while longer until the boat stops roughly. "Follow me" he says as he steps out of the boat. He offers a hand to the deputy "come on" he says sweetly.

"No..." burke looks confused "... Burke this isnt you" he looks at the deputy with mocking eyes.

"But see rookie this is me... if you dont wannna come thats okay... i wont force you... but she will" he says coldly for the last part. Like hes afraid.

He walks off sadly into the green mist. "Burke wait... Burke" the deputy shouts at him as she walks as fast as she can, trying to catch up to him. "Burke wait. Please stop".

She almost gives up trying to reach him. Until she knows something that will make him stop.

"Cameron..." he stops abruptly, standing still as a statue but perks his head up in recognition. " cameron remember the time when..." the deputy stops to think of the right words when he slowly walks closer to her.

"What" he says softly, almost unsure.

"Cameron remember when the time when... when we both had fights with our familys at the same time..." she looks at him as he stares at her with curiousty "... we both went to our hideout in the woods and... we talked for hours... we were both so upset but the comfort of each other made us feel better..." his eyes soften at the gorgeous girl in front of him. "... and then out of nowhere... we kissed" he walks closer to to the deputy, so close they could feel each others warmth. He remembers that same night like it was just yesterday. He missed their relationship back then. But when he became Marshal and she became police officer they drifted. When they first saw each other waiting at the helipad for the others the night they were gonna arrest joseph he couldnt believe himself. The girl he had secretly fallen in love with was standing there.

"I remember" he says quitly, barely even a whisper.

"Then come home... to Pratt and Hudson and Earl... come home to me".

Before they knew it everything went white.

Rookie woke up next to a flowing creek and a field of bliss flowers not to far. She notices shes back in her origanal deputy outfit instead of the black dress .Then she sees him. She runs over to Cameron and wakes him up.

"Cameron wake up" he wakes up with a jolt ready to aim his fist at someone until he sees rookie.

"Rook ohmygod" he embraces her in a tight hug and she doesn't hesitate to hug back. "Thank you... for saving me"

"Well i needed my best friend back didnt I" they finally pull apart not being able to look away from one another.

"When i was in the bliss i didnt remember anyone but you... you were the only one i could remember... and rook thats why i wanna say that... ive always had a cruch on you but after our kiss when we were 17 i just... i fell in love with you" he confesses ,afraid, of what the stunning girl ,who he loves, will say.

"Then stay with me... forever"

"I will always" he cups their face and leans in to kiss her she doesn't stop him she just lets her. He pulls her onto him and creeps his hand up her side under the t shirt. "I love you rook... i really love you"

"I love you too"

Even though she had gotten her one and only true love out of the bliss, she knew Faith would be back to get him. But she wouldnt get him without a fight.

I might do a part two but only if you guys want to.

“Johnny,” Dally said in a pleading, high voice, using a tone I had never heard from him before.

Most of them are the collection of behind the scenes pictures and personal pictures, and the last two are of the back leafs of the book and the back cover(sorry about my phone and the lighting but I just had to take a picture of it it straight up made me cry)
