Sometimes somebody is nonbinary and they're just a normal guy without gender. And sometimes someone is nonbinary and they're someone whose deeply uncomfortable with being either gender so they need to transition to something else. And sometimes someone is nonbinary because they hate gender and want to kill it. And sometimes someone is nonbinary in an otherworldly and eldrich way like an android or a fallen angel and it makes people think they're cool. And sometimes someone is nonbinary in a whimsical and magical way like a faerie and it makes people think they're cute and charming. And sometimes those are all different people and they're that way forever. And sometimes someone is many of those at once or at diffrent times. And that's just how being nonbinary is.

You know what my favorite part of Bojack horseman season 6 episode 15 is, it's the fact that death isn't a big relief. It's scary and it's dark and Bojack desperately trying to escape it. You think you don't want to live, don't want the pain, the mistakes but death is so much worse. It's nothingness that you should be scared of. Never romanticise it for it is not something to want.

It's fucking darkness. And it's not kind. It's the end. And I'm really glad the show depicted it as the black slime.

tired of nonbinary people being pressured to be thin hairless elf like pretty and always depicted as white afab skinny kids with blue hair, of course only using they/them. give me nonbinary people who are heavily fem/masc aligned!! give me nonbinary people who use neopronouns and xenogenders!! give me fat nonbinary people!! hairy nonbinary people!! nonbinary POC!! amab nonbinary people!! disabled nonbinary people!! nonbinary people who wear crazy clothes, or nonbinary people who don’t stand out and don’t feel the need to!! nonbinary people with names like Moss or Socks, or nonbinary people with “regular” names like Susan or James or something!! Give me every flavor of nonbinary people, and stop trying to make it into yet ANOTHER gender binary!! Nonbinary can be anything, not just a third gender to adhere to!!
