Honestly, I love thinking about the possibility of "What if Kai didn't come back to the Bladebreakers?" For some reason this seems funny.

I have some thoughts about Dranzer and Black Dranzer too. Because, if they are a counterpart to each other, what if they came together as one? I have some HC on this. And things about the effects of experiments at the Abbey, which would fit the reason why his eyes change color and his hair too (which also involves a bunch of medications to control long-term effects, just like the Borg boys).

All this to say, I think the evil version of him is adorable lmao

Actually… I planned to draw something decent tonight. Something new. Something fresh. But instead I just colored a lousy doodle from my sketchbook haha. Maybe that’s connected to the insane avocado-bowl-craving I have rn… who knows… For the flips and giggles I added a VERY professionally (COUGHCOUGH) edited and well known  meme. Whatcha think? How will Yuriy respond? A or B?

What do you MEAN Kai isn't emotional or THEATRICAL?

*gestures to him lying in an alleyway after a single spinning top defeat*

He's lying in a puddle of his own filth in a coat he probably (definitely) found in a bin. He hasn't washed for days.

He's the heir of one of the worlds richest families. He has made a solid decision to throw himself the most royal pity party hilariously close to where the beystadium is. He wants the damn attention I can't even...

He is enjoying the fuck of his tantrum. The other teams probably walked past him on the way in and rolled their eyes.

Can we talk about Takao’s decision to leave Dranzer MS on Yuri’s bed just before the BEGA tournament instead of keeping it with him? I mean, Takao is one of the closest people to Kai, Kyoujyu entrusted that precious bey to him and given the fact that the team desperately needed Kai to join, it would have been logic for Takao to keep it with him, so that his friend would be ready to battle as soon as he reappeared. 

And instead he entrusts Dranzer to Yuri, who lies in a hospital bed in a coma.

Because Takao knows. He knows that Kai will eventually enter that hospital room to visit him. He knows that despite the denial of both, they share a bond. That despite their divergence of opinions, they fight with the same passion and long for the same freedom, and deep down understand each other. He knows that to Kai Yuri has become important.

And he is right. 

Kai doesn’t remember anything from the fight against Brooklyn, his eyes are dull, and yet he remembers Yuri. He doesn’t recognise anyone, not even the BEGA bladers on the big screen while he is wandering in the city, but he recognises him. 

And there he finds that little precious bey which makes him regain the fighting spirit and the passion for the sport. 

His eyes are bright again.
