Redesigning my main OCs (3/4) !! aawhh my little inventor

playing around with the little mad scientist's jacket was a blast and i love how his clasps compliment his leg!! :) out of all the mains none of them had wings and in the wake of my fixation on actuallyrea and her oc apollo (whom i desperately need to draw), i was aiming to self indulge with each design, so taffy (placeholder name) ended up being more dragon-like because bro was lookin like a flavorless helluva boss OC which i always hated 😭🙏 real talk tho i loved making him this kinda dragon thing because the friend hes based on has always loved dragons since we were little so i wanted a sweet nod to that :))

Redesigning my main OCs (2/4) !! Imagine finishing a 29+hr drawing of your main oc/mascot because ur sure his design wont change again for a long while just to change said design less than a week later..

anyways here's r1ver's new design ehehehehe (the final i decided on was c! ^u^)

was kinda annoyed with how overloaded his design was with color, so I instead switched some colors around and took away others, primarily his sweater, which had been apart of his design for over a year now! :) it also just makes his design less cluttered and makes his outfit make more sense in general lol 😭

Weekly "Tumblr is supirior to every other god forsaken 'social' app" rant but i literally hate insta and tiktok users so much oh my god theyre so annoying and out of touch and dramatic and unfunny like god i feel like just POSTING on instagram and then closing out the app as fast as possible still is too much time on that god damn app. yknow i would post this rant on stories but then id get half of the "friends" that i follow all up in my dms copypasting "sybau 😂🥀" like the unoriginal brainless fucks they are. I obviously dont want everyone to respond with "omg river this is a banger rant!" but jesus christ if one more lil negative nancy tells me to shut up im just gonna start blocking them i dont care if ive known you for one day or 5 years youre getting that big bright red shiny block button shoved right up your digital ass and then tied shut with your overgrown asshole hairs. Im so glad tumblr exists because god forbid i post a social blog-like update on the SOCIAL app. the worst part is that none of my other friends would ever say that to eachother and if I said it to THEM theyd shit their pants and cry themselves to sleep because they apparently didnt learn to treat others how you wanna be treated in kindergarten.

Redesigning my main OCs (1/4) !! love my lanky gal :]

the more finished-looking/colored doodle is pretty much her final design for now! also i did decide that she will be keeping her iconic floppy ears eehee

under the mask she has mandibles (lore junk) and so me and my bff she's based on made the goal of really pushing that bug motif, and so we went the obvious route by slapping on some extra limbs and antennaes! Shes always drawn the heaviest inspiration from pearl of steven universe which i loved capturing in her orb motif, and the extra limbs will be a fun way to get her expressive nature across as she talks with hand gestures, is dainty and flowey in her most slightest of movements, and is probably the best set of organized helping hands out of all of the main OCs. I also found relief in giving her the antennaes as it not only allowed me to add more of those pretty, pearlescent, Esca-like orbs, but it also let me save room for the other two OCs to have more horn-ish head peices. :)

placeholder name is still indigo but is gonna change to something of a mix between her original name and something more floral if that makes any bit of sense lol 😭
