Weekly "Tumblr is supirior to every other god forsaken 'social' app" rant but i literally hate insta and tiktok users so much oh my god theyre so annoying and out of touch and dramatic and unfunny like god i feel like just POSTING on instagram and then closing out the app as fast as possible still is too much time on that god damn app. yknow i would post this rant on stories but then id get half of the "friends" that i follow all up in my dms copypasting "sybau 😂🥀" like the unoriginal brainless fucks they are. I obviously dont want everyone to respond with "omg river this is a banger rant!" but jesus christ if one more lil negative nancy tells me to shut up im just gonna start blocking them i dont care if ive known you for one day or 5 years youre getting that big bright red shiny block button shoved right up your digital ass and then tied shut with your overgrown asshole hairs. Im so glad tumblr exists because god forbid i post a social blog-like update on the SOCIAL app. the worst part is that none of my other friends would ever say that to eachother and if I said it to THEM theyd shit their pants and cry themselves to sleep because they apparently didnt learn to treat others how you wanna be treated in kindergarten.

Being an ex DreamSMP fan is my fandom equivalent to doing something really embarrassing and/or illegal in high school because I’m convinced it’s gonna follow me forever and I’m never going to escape it like I’m going to go to a job interview and the boss is going to have some kind of DNI list on the wall and It’s gonna be mandatory that I write down every fandom I’ve ever been in on my resume and it’s gonna determine if I can apply or not.

Am I the only one who kinda hates how a large section of content creation has become less about the content people create, and is instead fueled by drama baiting creators and channels? Like I haven’t seen so much negativity and infighting with some communities in such a long time and it seems to be filled by these creators who use it in order to get more clicks and views.

I’ve seen articles framed as something purposefully misleading or worded in a way to try to stir up drama between communities and get more attention to their site.

There’s still a lot of good creators making so many creative things, but a large section of it has just become shitty reality tv between people who only react to other people’s shitty reality tv. I’m just confused as to how a job that is meant to be at its core about creativity and passion has been taken over by the drama that arises between people who cater to that negativity and feed into it.

I wanted to clarify this for no one but myself since I’m the most active on tumblr but if r1ver’s skin ever looks desaturated or ashy it’s because my tablet’s display is off color (mostly with oranges conveniently. Yay.) I’ve tried to mess with it’s color settings multiple times but to no avail so I just try my best to edit the photos on my phone so that they match my tablet’s screen. Hopefully gonna take it back to get it fixed soon since the display being off-color was only a recent problem that I found when I got the tablet back from being fixed the first time around, so I’m pretty sure that the people who fixed a tablet that was involved in an accident (me) so brutal it looked like the thing got shot, I’m pretty sure they’ll be able to fix the same tablet’s slight display problem 😭😭
