*said with gay derision* They haven't even read the book it's based on
genderkoolaid does not make zionist posts emself, but ey frequently reblogs from zionists and gives them a platform, which makes em a zionist ally. as with all zionists, do not engage, do not debate, do not send any asks. doing any of that only helps normalize zionist presence and harms our cause. just block and move on.
examples under the cut. other zionists are also implicated here, but i'm mentioning genderkoolaid because ze is a popular blog:
here is genderkoolaid reposting captainlordauditor's self-promotion. captainlordauditor is openly zionist on his blog:
in addition, genderkoolaid frequently reblogs from spacelazarwolf and hadeantaiga, who are also zionists.
proof of hadeantaiga being a zionist:
(spreading the "hamas fired the rockets in the al-ahli hospital massacre" lie)
as for proof of spacelazarwolf's zionism, i'm blocked by him so i can't take screenshots but here are some posts that go into him being a zionist.
platforming zionists is doing their work for them. it is safe to say that genderkoolaid is fully aligned with zionism. stop reblogging hir posts.
That's right. There are more daily infections now than in *89%* of the pandemic
Mask the fuck up people. Protect yourselves, protect those you love, protect our fucking species
People not grasping what "trans men hold power over trans women" means is probably the most frustrating part of talking abt intracommunity transmisogyny
Huh. So another W from Macklemore.
seeing transmisandry truthers try to paint transmisogyny discussion as the newest wave of exclusionism, as ppl saying transmascs don't experience transphobia and don't belong in the queer community, honestly makes my blood boil. how little do you have to care about other people, how thin-skinned do you have to be, to hear that when someone says "you have privilege, please examine how you behave around transfeminine people"
the thing I hate the most about the mcu besides all the atrocities is the fact that it means in the mainstream lexicon “marvel” = mcu and not marvel comics. Every time I see that post thats like “I love people who are surprised that there aren’t men kissing in marvel” I go but there Are men kissing in marvel. There Are. I can show you men kissing in marvel if you come down to my cellar
as someone who grew up in an interfaith family it’s time to take a stance on christmas/hannukah cards. the best ones are for sure the ones where santa is gay married to a hasidic man
bisan's live video on her 2nd acc is piercing my heart
she started off expressing (in arabic) how sick she is of the constant sharing, photographing, capturing, having to speak english and how she wants to speak in her native tongue instead.
she explained that the leaflets that were dropped again are ordering evacuation to rafah so they are forced into the sinai, and how impossible it is for over 2 million people to go to an area that's only 151 square km, so many have no choice but to stay in khan younis. they are trapped and have no international passports. rafah is the southernmost point of palestine after khan younis and she said - this part in english - "after rafah there is no more palestine. if we are forced into rafah there is no more palestine."
someone asked her if she has eaten and whether they have any food, her response was no, not at all; one loaf of bread has to be divided between everyone in her camp.
the video kept freezing because of how bad the internet service is in gaza right now so i lost bits and pieces, but at some point an older woman joined the live, a journalist outside of the country. it's unclear whether they knew each other previously, but a lot of warmth was exchanged. the woman got tears out of bisan when she told her "dont listen to people who tell you to be strong, i don't want you to be strong, i want you to be you. if you are sad i want to know, if you are happy i want to know." she explained that she tried entering rafah but the occupation refuses to let any foreign journalists in anymore.
after the woman left, bisan talked about her life before october. she said her life was beautiful and fruitful and any source of strife was solely on israeli hands; namely her inability to travel or pursue placements for her education outside of palestine. other than that she had nothing to complain about. if im able to watch the video after it ends, i will add any pieces i missed
“I feel like I’ve had my share of bad craziness for a while. But like they say: You shouldn’t join if you can’t take a joke.”
YOOOO! it’s dj yuri times! and if you want women to be kissing, HAVE SOME NOISE 👩❤️💋👩🏳️🌈🙌

i'm seeing people losing hope for palestine i'm begging you seriously please don't. the death toll is high but there are still people alive, there are still journalists risking everything to make sure the world sees what is happening. please continue protesting if you have the option to, keep demanding for a ceasefire and keep talking about palestinians both alive and dead. you have to keep going until the very end or else you really did fail them.
The thing is, the people who are most "entitled" to "taking a break" from talking about the atrocities happening daily are the ones who will continue talking about it non-stop, either because we actively live it or because we share similar plights. We cannot afford to look away because we all know liberation and decolonization and anti-racism are goals we all share and strive for, and the suffering of Palestinians is the same as the suffering of every formerly and currently colonized peoples.
Yet the ones who talk about "activism burnout" or "compassion fatigue" or whatever, who only want this to be "over" so they can watch Disney+ again and get their favorite Starbucks TM drink TM, are the ones least impacted by what is happening; globally, but in their own country and even community as well. Imagine living in such a comfortable bubble that your main concern isn't the horrific government-sponsored genocide, but whether or not you can "go back" to your fun daily routines without feeling mild guilt because the corporations you're getting your fun and convenience from are either implicitly or explicitly backing that genocide happening right now.
If you can afford to look away and play pretend you are not only appallingly privileged, you have blood on your hands as surely as the military personnel bombing hospitals do.
i think the thing that is specifically bothering me about the conversation about the new hbomberguy video ("live your life in a way so that hbomberguy doesn't tear into you for 3 hours", "hbomberguy has figured out how to death note someone through video essays", "oh new hbomberguy video [incredibly dense paragraphs of text] i now despise james somerton") is that it really feels like people aren't paying attention to what hbomberguy was actually saying. like, as much as he wanted to make people aware of the plagiarism issue, he also very explicitly did not like the fact that he might even remotely have a financial incentive to make those sorts of videos. and rather than the last video, which was a "get mad about this" call to action, hbomberguy spent this whole video sympathizing with the people who were directly out indirectly affected, and wanted the focus of people's attention to be on uplifting small queer creators
but also, negativity drives engagement so i guess it's to be expected.
thank you all gif makers everywhere, yes i WOULD like to live inside that half a second when my otp looked at each other forever on repeat, lovingly color-adjusted to make them even hotter than ever
