I’m trying to prove something.

This is heartbreaking the way people act for no reason. How they attack verbally and physically while also spinning lies and spitting venom. People should support this and not go to that salon. Thank God for the helpful bystanders. All I can say is to support Michaelá and her cause against unjust and terrible people.

Michaelá is a 24 y/o Black woman who was physically assaulted at a nail salon in Michigan and was afterwards threatened online by the same workers who shared her personal information and created a false story for others to attack her. Police did nothing and even denied her to press charges against her attackers. This is her GoFundMe.

More information can be found on her original IG post. She has also made other posts updating her situation as time passes. Below are pictures of the place of the attack and some of the online threats she's been getting.

Everyone, acknowledge and delete these texts if you get them! Spread the word around so no one gets kidnapped, seriously!

Also, if you ever get a suspicious or even just a text with a link from a number you don't know, delete it immediately, especially if they know your name but you don't know THEM.

i haven’t seen this talked about on tumblr a lot but i’ve seen it all over twitter so please spread this:

there is a new sex trafficking method of sending women these texts (and these aren’t other people’s screenshots, these are texts that were sent to ME):

if you receive this kind of text, block the number immediately and do NOT click on the link. it leads to websites that give you the ability to “track your package,” when in reality, it is YOUR location being tracked.

i myself almost fell for this and i luckily called my apartment’s leasing office to check if i had any packages i never picked up and they said no.

spread this please because i’ve seen a LOT of others say they’ve received these kinds of texts, so there’s likely to be more who are unaware it’s a scam.
