Making Marinette Similar To The Main Antagonist Is Interesting For Sure You Know I Thought It Was On

i think miraculous ladybug should be legend of korra season 1. in the sense there's like a romance plotline that drives a lot of character drama but the main driver of conflict is the setting itself of a nitty gritty under city with a lot of problems with a heroine slowly discovering it outside of its sparkly exterior - mostly set at night, noir type aesthetics and undercover missions, an intimidating faceless villain that manipulates crowds. the thing is that legend of korra also sucks to me but more in the political messaging it does (it doesn't let korra make any substantial changes to her world) but it's a shit ton better than miraculous ladybug. but generally i think lok season 1 is the Vibe and Tone that the miraculous with the current themes would most fit? like aiming for an older audience but not an ADULT show.

i hate miraculous ladybug but i disagree with everyone else who hates miraculous ladybug and that's my true real problem. no video essay does it for me because they're literally wrong (because my opinion is always right btw) and every salt blog is wrong. s6 making lila the main antagonist (probably) is so sad like the excessive fake identities and such... it's not the same as it is s1-s4 its just not the same flavor. I need her petty 14 yo beef to stay petty 14 yo beef. can s6 at least have adrien and lila fight with nails behind the lycee. or have marinette teach adrien how to drive her scooter and adrien runs over lila mako-asami style like "oops sorry ^_^" i need their beef to be astronomical but also on a civilian level. like lila should be a normal 14 yo girl who just so happens to push people down staircases Not a supervillain. In my opinion.

the ONE advantage the sentimonster adrien thing has, storytelling-wise, the one thing it has going for itself, is that it makes emilie tremendously interesting, even more than we expected. not only are both her husband and son obsessed with her, not only do they have goddamn STATUES of her in their home, but she also created her son in her image. with the same exact looks, the same delicate beauty and cat-like green eyes, the same sensitive and turbulent and emotional personality... it's deranged and narcissistic and plain weird. there is SO much that could be done here if the show plays its cards right. alas, since it's the agrestes, we'll get nothing as usual. ✌️

okay so i also haven't totally caught up with season 6. i really did think maybe they were saving marinette telling adrien for later but the crazy thing is that felix knows. kagami knows. nathalie knows. and you're telling me NO ONE has snitched. everyone is totally fine with not telling adrien anything. i hope everyone goes to hell im so serious

i can't go on tiktok and read comments. revelator has done something insane because i have seen so many comments saying what marinette is doing when it comes to lying about gabriel being hawkmoth is 100 percent correct and alya being upset about her lying is wrong. am i fucking crazy? am i out of my mind right now? or do tiktok comment sections live in an entirely different universe than me? because what do you mean it's the correct option to lie to the entire world about how the person who has terrorized them for years is actually a hero and not even tell his son that his father was a criminal. omfg does no one understand the concept of justice or closure or autonomy. even if telling the world gabriel agreste was hawkmoth might result in adriens life becoming harder, why not tell adrien and let him make ab informed decision about any of it? or do people hate letting other people other than marinette make decisions. this is actually driving me insane like i can't actually deal with reading people saying marinette is morally correct. what are we teaching people right now
