Recapping what I've seen online:
David, Louise, Victoria, Nolan, Margaux, and Emily all attend the funeral as scene in the clip that was posted online. (I'm guessing that was Emily laughing and holding the camera.) So logically none of them can die next week.
Multiple people have said they saw Ben in promo pics for later episodes. While I haven't seen these, I think it's unlikely they would create the character just to kill him off (but hey, fingers crossed it's him and not a regular).
That leaves Daniel, Charlotte, and Jack in the line of fire. Charlotte already left, so that doesn't make much sense. Jack is possible, by why would Louise attend the funeral? Unless David drags Victoria to it and Louise stalks her, it doesn't make much sense.
This, unfortunately, leaves Daniel, whom the show recently decided to give decent scenes. This feels like the shows way of saying goodbye to the character by cramming in as many Danily moments as possible so fans feel somewhat appeased at the end. It is also made more tragic by the fact that he was genuinely going to be a father this time, and it will be ripped away from him again.
PRAYING that I'm wrong, but this seems like the most likely avenue, coupled with the rumors from last season that Josh Bowman wanted to leave the show.
Real talk, the most miraculous thing about that episode was both of those hunters making it out alive. No one getting infected, no one getting ripped open. Nothing.
I’m still just really happy Dean didn’t leave it at him needing Sam but is finally confident enough in his brother’s love to say that Sam needs him, too. Took him a while to get there.
“so what’s that show supernatural about, anyway?”
Whoa whoa whoa what picture?
Omg that picture……I really hope it’s not Daniel he was just beginning to change…..
THEY DIDN’T KILL HER. PRAISE.
BMOL better not show up at the end and kill Ellie so that she can never be used against humanity…. I swear to God…
To address it being “officially mind control,” the synopsis for this episode included Dean trying to understand the power she has over him. That pretty much confirms that she is exercising some control over his will. The previous episodes also displayed that. It isn’t a question of her giving him explicit orders. It’s a more subtle manipulation than that. Furthermore, she’s a deity. She was throwing toys at the wall to spell out her demands at less than a day old. She wasn’t ever a human infant, so it’s wrong to assume she couldn’t do it even then. Her saying the attempted kill wouldn’t work doesn’t really invalidate anything. The brothers have made attempts on creatures in the past without knowing if it would work. He took a shot, it failed.
This is nothing like with Michael. Dean is fighting this, and sometimes he breaks out and sometimes she has him caught. Acting like he is at fault is pretty ridiculous.
So I didn’t really see anyone mention it but doesn’t anybody find it creepy that Amara tried to suck Dean’s SOUL before she kissed him but when it didn’t work she kissed him to not look stupid, and can we talk about Dean? Like what the fucking is wrong with you sir? Did you take a page out of Sam’s book during season 4/5 and trying to get it on with the enemy, like dude. If we are going to force a heterosexual relationship on Dean can we please at least make it a good functioning one, like I get it, it’s Supernatural there’s going to be a lot of angst but c'mon that shit ain’t healthy dude.
Then Amara with her bullshit that we’re bonded and stuff like just because she was the Mark and he bared it, like so what, I got stabbed by this girl in 5th grade with her pencil and the led is stuck in me, but you don’t see me trying to become one with the pencil.
Plus the comparisons trying to be made to Dean/Castiel is invalidating everything, this ain’t Oprah. You just can’t be giving out bonds, like you get a bond, you get a bond, everybody gets a bond.
Not gonna like if he shoots the cop I will laugh my ass off. "Oi, stay away from my ex."
Season 1: Daniel shoots Tyler in the mid-season finale.
Season 2: Daniel shoots Aiden in the season finale.
Season 3: Daniel shoots Emily in the mid-season finale.
So if they continue with this pattern we can expect Daniel to shoot someone in the season finale right?? I vote flop cop or David Clarke.
