Not all straight people, but yes this is something that needs to change and change is already starting!
the problem is that gay people are always hypersexualized so that even if we do the same things that straight people do, we’re specifically targeted for it like its unique to us. people see gay bars as like, dens of sin, when theyre virtually the same as other bars except they cater to LGBT people. a gay couple kissing is immediately pda because straight couples kissing is normalized, its everywhere- but the moment a gay couple looks at each other on TV conservatives whine about “political correctness” and gayness “being forced on them”. often times gay spaces are the only places we can be open about our sexualities and be sexual just like straight people, but straight people use this against us to try and prove our sinfulness. that’s why when people complain that gay spaces are sexualized or that all pda should be tagged, etc, that we get angry and defensive. these are our only spaces, and yet people are still putting a burden on us to keep it hidden, to remember that even here, we can’t have an outlet. understand that we all have our boundaries.
I am trying to tumblr... ;-; Halp...
I was telling my dog to go to the bathroom for 5 minutes before he finally goes out the door and then he just walks over to the tree and sniffs it then looks back at me and then sniffs the tree. Then when he finally went he just sat down in the yard and stared at me.
Mr. Tyson On Passports
Hey hazah of course you are legitimate like always!!
i wanna come out to my mom as pansexual but when ive hinted at me not being 100% straight, she’s said its not a thing and that im too young to know (im 19) what my sexuality is and it just makes me SO MAD bc i want my mom to accept me but i think i need some support
so, please reblog if you agree that pansexuality is real and that im old enough to know my sexuality.
I just want to say it makes me a bit sad that having the straight allies flag makes people uncomfortable... I am straight all of my freind know. I just want people know that some straight people love and support the LGBTQ+ community.
I'm not sure if this is a valid concern, but the LGBTQ community flag gradient banner on this blog has a straight ally flag in it and it makes me uncomfortable.
Oh, goodness. I’ll be sure to change that. :)
Ok… I just want to say that I have been told to eat a sandwich before because someone thought I am skinny because I am starving myself. I hate it because I don’t want to weigh less then my 9 year cousin I just do… Since when do people get to decide the weight I should be. I have always been upset my body being so thin… At one point I would eat three bowls of ice cream every day after school just to try and put on weight. Didn’t work… It makes me feel like I am not good enough :(
Ahahahahah
