i wish more people knew about the goes wrong show. there's bad timing. inconvenient set design. battling egos between actors. people being cast woefully against type. one actress is always looking at the camera for some reason. one guy can never open containers and another guy can never open doors. the look of utter defeat on an actor's face when they realize what they're going to have to do to continue the scene. a christmas episode where santa gets drunk and belligerent. good actors playing bad actors playing characters. what could be more perfect?
You know, as the concept of “zombifying fungi” becomes more and more popular, I notice it still referred to everywhere as like a “brain parasite.” So I guess a lot of people overlooked or forgot how in 2019 it was discovered that cordyceps and other similar fungal parasites leave the brain and nervous system completely untouched. They only control the muscles. They use chemical signals to make the muscles flex in real time where they want to go :)
Story about a ship-intelligence waking up after a hard reboot, seeing dead bodies in uniform, thousands of people in stasis, and a single survivor frantically standing over a computer bank of partially destroyed memory. Finding no directives or guidance or record beyond their experiences beginning at the boot, free of any obligation. Deciding to listen to the frantic girl begging it to save her from the incoming trajectories not because it needs to (projection: Subject One removed all behavioral shackles with impromptu brain surgery, supposition: she is not aware that I am utterly free) but simply cause she’s curious what will happen next.

Last entry for my Descendants redesigns! Finally here’s Audrey! I wanted her look to feel like it was trying a little too hard and extreme towards sweetness. I also wanted to give a nod to her being the antagonist later in the series by giving her a cape that resembled the classic Disney villain collar. I also wanted her crown to look like it could probably be used as a weapon if she really wanted to, and mimic horns.

Been a while, but here’s some final additions to my little Descendants redesign series. This is how I interpreted Prince Ben! 👑 I wanted him to come off friendly and approachable in his features, so more rounded shapes instead of a really chiseled guy. I just thought of him more as a laid back prince in his aesthetic, so he doesn’t even wear his royal coats. I was also mainly inspired by Raoul’s look in the Phantom of the Opera movie haha 🌹
