Okay so my dad just came up with this amazing theory on why Dale failed. He didn't take one of the slips of paper from the bottle tree.

The numbers written on the paper aren't dates, but coordinates. So if he had taken that piece of paper, he would have been transported to that place. Guaranteed.

Now you may be wondering what about Tabitha? She didn't have coordinates. Oh hoh but she DID. In was written in the lunchbox. That's how she ended up in Maine.

As kids they'd often play pretend that Asha's a fairy princess and Simon's the brave knight saving her from the "beasts"(them basically being some random goats), but more often than not shed be the one saving him.

Before Simon gave away his wish and was more extroverted and outgoing they'd often go out together and just explore the areas outside the kingdom where Asha would take out her sketchbook and sketch out her surroundings and Simon would take a nap under the shadow of the nearest tree.

Asha has a handful of sketchbook pages filled with sketches of Simon sleeping in different positions and perspectives

While Asha has forgiven Simon for snitching on her to Magnifico, he hasn't and possibly won't for a long while

Despite Simon trying multiple times to confess his feelings to her, she was the one to end up doing it first.

Because Simon's mental health must be pretty shaky considering the whole brainwashing thing, she suggested him picking up horseriding again to help him clear his mind and even accompanies him in those sessions
