Tiny Paper Bookmarks Let You Grow Charming Miniature Worlds In Your Books
Book Photo Challenge | June 2015 | Nature
A little tough to read (physically) - especially for us anti-bookbenders - but super cool. The Strange Library - Haruki Murakami.
Dinner and book number 8 for the year.
6th book of the year on the warmest day of March here in NY. Bonus cat.

Art nouveau influence covers
Outlander, Game of Thrones, Penny Dreadful
Feeling vulnerable for sharing my vice-watching but can’t wait to see the outpouring of responses, photos, and gifs for these shows in the coming months. On the edge of my seat.
I’m sooooo interested to see what people who have not read the books will say about what’s to happen next in the “Outlander” tv series. It’s been so hunky-dory up until what’s about to happen next...
The dilemma - my goal is to read all the books on my bookshelf that I haven’t read - approximately 27 and I'm 6 books in. I've been really good about not adding to that but couldn't help myself and adopted these two today at work. Approx 29 for the year...
Read 100 pages of this book and then lost it at a job site yesterday. It is gone forever. I am unreasonably crushed.
Update: found it sitting plain as day on the coffee table. Crisis averted.
Next of kin.
My dream is to one day take a picture of her with books. This will have to do for now.
Reminds me of one of those awkward JC Penny photos from the 80s. She's going to be so embarrassed when she grows up.

Perfect book
This is the perfect medieval book: it is on purple parchment, written in golden letters, and illuminated with great images. To top it, the book is fitted in an original bookbox, very few of which survive. What more could a book lover want?

Astronomical myths. 1877.
The theme of my day is crows - Earlier I stumbled upon an article about a little girl who receives "gifts" from crows everyday (left the link to the podcast about the girl) - took a ride with a friend and he put in "The Crow" soundtrack - and now this post... Crows. http://www.thebittersweetlife.net/podcast/episode-51-crows/
And these are the gifts that crows would leave that little girl in exchange for her leaving them food.

Stop shaming readers. Okay byeeeeeee *runs away*
Played this and my cat immediately came over purring, sat on my chest, and started nudging my head (x-tra amazing because she isn't very loving). I don't know what this meow means in cat but it's something profound.

I sometimes have this unsettling feeling that I’m actually an old woman remembering my life. That maybe I’m unconscious or senile somewhere and just thinking about the life that I had.
