Once a human sighs, it’s acts as a reset button. Someone bears the burden of remembering everything that happened before someone sighs, though no one else ever believed them.

You’re in charge of assigning every child on Earth the monster under their bed. One child in particular has caused every monster assigned to him/her to quit. You decide to assign yourself.

Being bitter and negative is boring and I dont want to do it anymore

Let’s talk a bit about Jean-Jacques Leroy

Like his first anime appearance is this. He’s winking and biting his medal. If he’s like this in a few seconds, what will his skating routine look like? Also, where is his other hand going? Canadians are supposed to be nice. Why is this one so rude???

Now based off this, he seems like he’ll be quite the character, but it doesn’t stop there. His voice actor is none other than Mamoru Miyano. A few other characters that have been voiced by Miyano are Dazai from Bungou Stray Dogs, Fushimi from K, Rin from Free!, and Tsukiyama from Tokyo Ghoul. 

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you Jean-Jacques Leroy aka the rudest Canadian to live who will probably steal all our hearts. Will he be another Chris? Will our hearts be able to handle the combination of him and VictUuri being canon? Probably not

Character VS Awkwardness.

Person- you got a second, *name*? Character- There is only one of me.

Person- what’s the word, *nickname*? Character- a shortened version of my name.

Person- Son of a bitch… Character- Actually, this man is entirely human, and his mother was in no way a canine- oh okay, I didn’t get it.

Person- sticks and stones may break my bones- Character- actually sticks when sharper can stab people, not just break their bones, and boulders actually have the capability to crush a person’s whole body, including their internal organs. *screams in the distance*

Person- go talk to him. Character- *stares at crush, who is doing something amazing* Character- maybe I should leave and not take your advice at all.

Person- there has to be a way to stop him, like a cage or- Character- put him on a leash, since he’s dog-like. Person- Person- kinky

Character- *picks up a note book* Character- why did the chicken cross the road? Character-…Probaly to get hit by a car and become roadkill. Person- Jesus Christ

(Meeting crush for the first time). Crush- Heya~ Character- Hello. Crush- not much of a talker then. Character- quieter people can take the time to hear the screams of their enemies (Everyone facepalms while crush stares in shock). Character- thankfully there’s only a twelve percent chance of that happening. Martin-um…ok.

(Meeting tall person). tall person- hi. character- hello. tall person- you’re really short. character- well that’s because you’re very tall for your age. Of course, this would mean you have a mutated gene that causes gigantism which slowly leads to bone and back problems. I would assume that you will die by the age of 34. (Tall is speechless and wants to press the leave option).

Seeing some real JJ hate and it’s pissing me off

For starters, the whole ice kiss thing - kissing the ice is a perfectly normal thing in figure skating. This isn’t about him being in love with himself - it’s sort of an emotional thing - a kiss goodbye, a thank you to the ice - as cheesy as that may sound - or just that they felt they performed well.

Canadian ice dancer Scott Moir - and you’ll remember JJ’s parents are supposed to be famous ice dancers - did the same in Sochi.

More infamous yet, is Canadian figure skater David Pelletier’s kiss on the ice during the 2002 Olympics where he and partner Jamie Sale were at the centre of a judging scandal that originally cost them gold. Interesting to note: Sale and Pelletier had a son named Jesse Joe Pelletier. French-Canadian dad, figure skating parents and JJ initials? Coincidence?

And then there’s the whole “he’s so cocky and arrogant and I’ll like him as soon as he shows he’s not a terrible person.” According to the wikia, he does a lot of charity work in the off-season, as any good Canadian athlete would. How is charity work not a good thing?

Then there’s this:

Crossing yourself is a Catholic thing. He’s religious. I highly doubt one can say the creators made him a hypocritical religious person, so I think it’s safe to say that he holds those kinds of values.

Is he a cocky, arrogant bastard? Absolutely. But over-confidence does not make one a bad person. I’m a huge fan of Dearka in Gundam SEED, and I don’t see people complaining about his arrogance. Besides, saying things like “I’m the only one that can pull this off” could entirely be a mental tactic.
