Descendant Signs 101

What? Your Descendant is ruled by Libra and Venus. It mainly represents relationships, partners, romance and who are attracted and why. Your Descendant is exactly opposite to your ascendant/rising sign and is held on the cusp of the 7th house. 

Aries: You will attract and are attracted to people who possess Mars like qualities. People who are obvious, loud, aggressive (not like punch aggressive), blunt, and bright. Each zodiac sign rules a different part of the human anatomy. In seeing the macrocosm of the heavens influence over one whole organic unit, the ancients devised the philosophy that the body is a sacred space reflecting the eternity of the cosmos manifested in the present.

Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces (The Mutable Signs)

So, you may have heard that mutable signs (gemini, virgo, sagittarius, and pisces) don’t get along. Now, before you start crying about your doomed astrologically incompatible relationship, let’s look at what’s actually going on here.

Mutable signs are all trying to finish something:

Gemini is trying to finish differentiating everything

Virgo is trying to finish physical perfection 

Sagittarius is trying to finish the ultimate truth

Pisces is trying to finish infinity 

They’re all trying to “finish” but because what they’re trying to finish is all different (they have different end goals) they tend not to get along, astrologically speaking.

But

A) If you’re talking compatibility, there are WAY more factors than just your Sun signs. 

B) Squares, while tense, provide motion much like oppositions do. Mutable signs, particularly mutable Suns, are happiest when challenged. They like to find an obstacle to finishing their goal and then overcoming it. While it makes for a dynamic relationship, they can complement each other quite nicely. 

Sun and the moon, what is conscious verses what is subconscious. The sun serves the ego and the moon serves your emotional response. Your emotional response is tied to the subconscious and all throughout the day whatever we see or experience sits in our subconscious. The ego is what’s on the surface. The moon is extremely important, and it’s needs are imperative to navigating your souls purpose. So you need to nourish your moon, you need to comfort it, you have to be aware of what it needs.
