All opposite signs share something in common
Cancer and Capricorn both care deeply about family and reputation
Leo and Aquarius both want to be liked and accepted
Virgo and Pisces are both creative and have lots of ideas
Aries and Libra both want to be heard and seen
Scorpio and Taurus both want depth and dedication
Sagittarius and Gemini both crave more knowledge and discussions
So, you may have heard that mutable signs (gemini, virgo, sagittarius, and pisces) don’t get along. Now, before you start crying about your doomed astrologically incompatible relationship, let’s look at what’s actually going on here.
Mutable signs are all trying to finish something:
Gemini is trying to finish differentiating everything
Virgo is trying to finish physical perfection
Sagittarius is trying to finish the ultimate truth
Pisces is trying to finish infinity
They’re all trying to “finish” but because what they’re trying to finish is all different (they have different end goals) they tend not to get along, astrologically speaking.
But
A) If you’re talking compatibility, there are WAY more factors than just your Sun signs.
B) Squares, while tense, provide motion much like oppositions do. Mutable signs, particularly mutable Suns, are happiest when challenged. They like to find an obstacle to finishing their goal and then overcoming it. While it makes for a dynamic relationship, they can complement each other quite nicely.

Fire moons (Aries, Leo, Sag): they are heavily driven and spirited. Ambitious, creative and enthusiastic are all qualities that bind the fire moons. They are quite blunt but despite their hash nature, they are vulnerable and simply want to feel “important” to others or society.
Fire moon + Fire Venus: These people are quite direct when it comes to flirting and they are very “loud” that can be very attractive to others. Fire and fire makes this person a joy and a party. Although it’s hard for them to solidify a romance because they work in short cycles. They may let their inner ambitions and their need for competition to get in the way. They will compare themselves to their partners constantly or they will let that faulty ego get in the way and assume their partners don’t appreciate them. These ppl need reassurance and they also need some grounding. Believe it or not, these people lack interpersonal skills and need to understand the purposes of relationships. They can be too demanding and lack the ability to negotiate boundaries of the relationship and accommodate with them.
Fire moon + Air Venus: These people don’t know what they want. Too much free-flowing and high energy can make it hard for them to find partners that keep them interested but they can be promiscuous. They can come off too intimidating bc of how independent and fierce they are. Most importantly, they don’t prefer relationships that require much work, they may be more concern with their projects and building up an image rather than investing in personal relationships; however, they can be romantic. Others may assume this combination is very “fake” or surface level but again, these people don’t know what they want. Air venus typically don’t know how relationships work in general and paired with a fire moon that is always working toward people’s validation, they need a partner that can work with them but not take charge. These people hate being confined.
Fire moon + Water Venus: These people need it all. They can give too much devotion to their partners which usually results into unbalanced power dynamics. These people can easily get pushed aside and manipulated. However, they can also manipulate their partners; either way it’s important these people establish healthy relationships and not be too dependent on their partners. They also got a presence to them, a quirky but also direct personality that makes them very attractive to others especially of how loyal and protective they are. Romance is very essential and they will typically do all the corny romantic gestures you can think of. However, they are very fragile and relationships must be nurturing for them and the other person. Know your boundaries and learn to not invest in people who wouldn’t give you the time of day.
Fire moon + Earth Venus: These people like to be in charge when it comes to relationships. They can be very ambitious and driven but they are not as direct and it takes time for them to really see who is a perfect fit for them. They, too can be very demanding and again, they can practically run the relationship because being in control is almost a necessity. Romance is shown through gifts and being secured with one another. They can be bossy but it’s because they usually are independent and they know exactly what they want. The other person just needs to fit with their standards. I will say it’s hard to work with these people bc they are like molten rock; they always gotta be in the right.
