When I was in elementary, one of my friends put white out on their teeth to "make it whiter" and I imagine that Percy has done the same at least once in his lifetime

Before the sea of monsters I imagine that for the longest time Grover would tear up whenever he would see Thalia's tree. I imagine him blaming himself over and over again while the memory of her dying replays in his head like a broken record. drew has great difficulty saying i love you to anyone. she cant remember the last time she’s said it without dripping sarcasm.

but leo manages to say it so easily - it rolls off his tongue like warm honey. it’s sweet and genuine and it makes drew melt (not that she’d ever show him).

one day they’re hanging out in leo’s cabin alone and drew sucks up her pride and tries her best to tell him- *i love you* because she *does* and she needs him to know. *i love you. thank you for loving me. i love you. i love you.*

“…leo.”

“yeah?” leo turns to her from his place sitting on the floor with all of his mechanical magazines spread all around him. he’s all smiley and happy to hear his name on her voice and drew wants to cry.

she tries. *i love you. i love you.* she opens her mouth but the words get choked up in her throat like a bunch of thorns. she snaps her mouth shut in embarrassment and frowns and grips his bedsheets - she doesn’t understand *how* he’s able to just. say it.

leo stares at her, still smiley and oblivious, patiently waiting for what she has to say.

drew just shakes her head with a huff and slides off the bunk and wraps her arms around his neck, hiding her face flush red with embarrassment. leo lets out a little yelp of surprise, but doesn’t hesitate to reciprocate.

“tell me you love me.” she asks, uncharacteristically quietly.

leo holds her by her waist and presses an innocent kiss to her temple. “i love you.” and it’s the truth, as easily as someone can say one - leo loves her, loves her, loves her, and it makes drew’s heart swell.

“are you okay, though?” leo pulls away and places his hands on her shoulders to look at her.

“m’ okay,” drew swiftly responds, placing her hands over his. his hands are course and rough from all the handiwork he does, and drew lightly runs her fingers over the cracked, dry skin and the small indented scars. his hands ground her - she’d love to hold those warm, worn hands in hers forever, she realizes.

“are you sure? that was kinda sudden,” leo gently pushes. he gingerly moves his hands to cup her face, and drew sighs fondly and closes her eyes.

“i’m sure.”

leo kisses her nose and holds her figure to his chest.

“i love you, drew.” he repeats.

drew hugs him tighter. i love you, too.

REAL! I saw that one too and was like WTF?!

I saw this Riordanverse tiktok that was like "women who would change for a man vs women who'd change the man." and the first half showed Drew Tanaka...REALLY, Drew "Come Get Your Boo" Tanaka, Drew "Break His Heart & Steal His Car" Tanaka, DREW "He Loves My Heartshaped Sunglasses(He Left His Card Unattended So I Used It To Book A Flight To Osaka)" TANAKA?! Oh that bitch aint changing her for a man just like she aint changing her mind about her sister! As soon as he says something about her makeup the relationship will already be over( as she should.) She'll file her nails in the middle of an argument and tell him to move and that he's blocking the sunlight. Shes not a pick me, she knows better than that.

I head canon that Drew's dad is a member (or even some sort of leader) of the Japanese Yakuza. Not just because she gives off that vibe but also because you can't tell me that Aphrodite hasn't hooked up with some hot af criminal (a.k.a the ultimate bad boy that she likes so much) that resulted with her having their child.

I recently got into the Percy Jackson Fandom and right now I’m honestly just pretty disappointed about the Aphrodite cabin and its wasted potential.

The Aphrodite cabin could have been a place where people are loving no matter what and where people see how beautiful you are because the children of Aphrodite know that beauty is more than beauty standards. I could have been a place where you can go and not get judged.

The Aphrodite cabin could have been a Loving and beautiful place.

I know that part of this may come from everyone expecting the children of Aphrodite to be a certain way but I just think that it’s kind of sad.

The Aphrodite cabin could have been a place to teach young children about love and that love isn’t only romantic and that everyone is beautiful.

Drew Tanaka definitely flirts with the hunters of Artemis whenever they come to camp, and the hunters sometimes aren't strong enough to resist her charm so they would get flustered from time to time. Artemis is aware of it but doesn't know what to do because Drew's a girl so technically it's not against their rules BUT STILL Artemis hates it when Drew "Daughter of Aphrodite who flirts for fun" Tanaka successfully manages to make one of her hunters lose their composure or make them blush.

Aphrodite is lowkey proud of her for this.
