I Was Skeptical With This Series Initially. I Listened To The First Book And I Already Had Some Spoilers

I was skeptical with this series initially. I listened to the first book and I already had some spoilers of who the female leads hook up with. But the way the characters get treated seemed insane that they would hook up with any of the abusing characters.

Still it intrigued me enough that I wanted to know how this was going to happen, so I listened to book two. It was definitely better than the first. The female leads turn around and start fighting back which made the story much more entertaining to follow. I appreciate a little bit of justice. Finished the second book pretty quick and was happy to see book 3 was available.

I'm trying not to speed through these but the Graphic Audio production is great. The actors do a fantastic job. One of the female leads has become one of my favorite voice actresses to follow as I heard her first as Violet Sorrengail in the Fourth Wing production - Khaya Fraites.

However, so far my favorite character is Lance Orion. We'll see how things go :)

becoming a parent has made me think about these things. especially online presence stuff. definitely need to do some social media cleanup now vs later. less online store accounts. just less accounts as much as possible. there's just so much... digital trash out there now and i don't want my kid to have to worry about it.

Hey You Know How I Said I Was Going To Make A Workbook On The Kind Of Bullshit You Need To Do When Someone

Hey you know how I said I was going to make a workbook on the kind of bullshit you need to do when someone you love dies? I actually did that.

HERE IS THE VERSION WITH LOTS OF SWEARING AT THE USELESS, SHITTY SITUATION YOU’RE IN.

HERE IS THE VERSION WITH A FAIR AMOUNT OF BLACK HUMOR BUT NO CURSEWORDS.

Featuring Helpful Sections such as:

Death Certificates – What you need, why you need them, and how to get them

Prepare to spend a long and miserable time on the phone

What the Everloving Fuck is Probate

Some Simple Dos and Don’ts

Shitty Mad Libs – Templates for writing Obituaries and Memorials

How to plan a non-religious death party

So you suddenly have to become some sort of hacker or some shit

This is an eighteen page book that you can print out, download, share, and give away; it is meant to be used to collect information about funeral planning and account management after a death OR you can use it BEFORE you die and give people information so they’re not stuck playing Nancy Fucking Drew while trying to keep seventeen cousins who crawled out of the woodwork from gutting each other in front of the fucking casket as they argue about who’s inheriting grandma’s favorite dentures.

It’s not exactly cheerful and it’s full of things that are probably going to feel really fucking raw if you’re processing a fresh death.

I’m sorry! I love you! Death is shitty! I’m trying to laugh about it a little and I hope you can laugh a little too because otherwise we’re all just going to cry together.

Good luck!

(in memory of my weirdo mother and her weirdo siblings who all died too fucking young and left me holding this flaming bag of dogshit)

I watched this movie for the first time today. It's been in my queue for a while. I'm glad I watched it this week. I knew nothing of what the story was going to be about. I remember when the tsunami happened in 2011. It was a heartbreaking tragedy. For me, as a New Yorker who lived 9/11, this week is always hard. This world sees no end to these events.

Seeing this movie reminded me of those days when people just helped people after a traumatic event. I wanted to see that coming out of the pandemic, and it just didn't really happen. But I will keep hope. This movie really captured that feeling of being helpful, even in the smallest ways, and I appreciate it so much.

I've been playing with midjourney AI. It's fascinating what it can create but I still haven't generated anything amazing that I've seen others post. I wonder if there is an anti AI art assessor that can figure out what art piece influenced the generated art. 🤔

'How Dare You': Katie Porter Clashes With Pro-Gun Witness After Accusing...

Katie Porter is someone I fully support being a representative for the people. I’m not of her state, so I can’t vote for her specifically, but time and time again she exhibits the best lawmaker behavior for making this country a better place. She proves her point and highlights these evil and manipulative people in their lies and turns it on them.

Also, fully support we move towards more consumer protection for all dangerous products. Her point makes so much sense as to why any sort of manufacturer should have any immunity at all?
