I liked the idea of him being an edgy rich guy, but the thought of adding cat makes him a bit soft. So here it is.

Yes, It’s not classical fairytale from the Grimm Brothers nor the work of my favorite fairytale author Hans Christian Andersen. 

I’m grateful to my friends who mentioned that I should read the fic. @p0l-anka​ @1-800-i-ship-it​ Even tho it’s fanmade, it gives warm and mezmerizing ambiance while reading it. It feels young again, the nostalgia of gift giving and toys as a kid. 

To be honest, my real intention is to draw “The Wild Swans of Hans Christian”. But  the nudge and suggestion of my friends to read aguerobaam’s fic gave me a strong urge to do this instead. 

The story of “The Toymakers by Robert Dinsdale” is ethereal, magical and warm. There’s a tug and good feeling, a sanctuary in the midst of this reality. It’s like a dream that I don’t want to end. I won’t drop the whole story here because my words won’t do justice in the beauty of it. Besides, I’m not finished yet. I only have the copy of it from e-books and I want to buy the hardcopy of itself. Too bad, I can’t get out.

These works made me feel like I’m home. A home that I’ve been longing for.

And as appreciation, I made a fanart.
