I must hate myself something fierce because I thought it would be smart to eat ice cream. I'm lactose intolerant and I would like to write my fanfiction now please and thank you. I swear I do this type of shit every day and I never learn.
"Maybe it'll work out this time" no, shut up phoseo, it won't
YES, the inspiration to write is returning! The ideas... they flow.
Finallyyyy
So I ended up defeating Radahn, O'Neil, and the Mimic Tear, today. I love the look of Nokron and the underground woods, that starry cavern sky is beautiful.
I've still more to do in Nokron, need to beat the Regal Ancestor Spirit, the Red Wolf in the field nearby, and I stumbled into the Valiant Gargoyle boss room, not knowing what it was, and lost 24k runes there. One of the gargoyles died, but the second one got me while it was below half health. I considered going back, but I didnt really feel like getting into a death cycle, and its not that many runes really.
I suppose I also need to go back and run through Redmane Castle properly as well.
Radahn is a pretty scary boss, I spent the entirety of my three attempts at him on horseback summoning allies and jumping in with some slashes when it looked like there was an opening, that arena is fucking massive though, I traveled the whole circumference and it took a *while*.
Also, why's Blaidd in the Evergaol now? Lady Ranni, explain.
Okay I like exactly ONE doctor who post because I think Billie Piper is cute and now my feed is only doctor who posts.
Tragedy strikes again.
Killed that bitch Agheel! Kicked my ass several times a few days ago, but I'm 20 levels stronger and with better gear, didnt even use Torrent or ranged attacks, just a sword and a dream

Whew, just under a month since I started putting this fic down into a Google doc and it's already *way* longer than I was expecting. And I've only just finished arc 3... of 11. Satisfying as hell though :D
Can't wait to see how people react to the unposted chapters---in several weeks, lol
People kept mentioning it on reddit on r/curatedtumblr and it popped up frequently as a crossover in some fandoms I used to read on ffnet so I bit the bullet in September 2024 and started reading. Most of the later twists and turns were spoiled for me because I kept looking up new characters on the wiki to see what happens to them and whether or not I should get attached.
By the end of October I was in literally the middle of arc 24, the chapter right after Cody's interlude, when I decided "this is getting pretty heavy, good stopping point for now" and did nothing but read wormfic until mid-January when I decided that I needed to fully finish Worm to start writing fic about it. So now I write worm fanfiction, that's fun. Hopefully I can finish my current fic by like, May? so then I can start on the *next* wormfic.
its nearly a year since i got into Worm myself so Im feeling nostalgic and curious, how was your first Worm read like? did you stumble across it on your own or did someone else recommend it to you? did you guess any big spoiler correctly, or had some wild theory looking back that you would like to share? personally, i got into it after a friend on twitter shared screenshots on how large the ratio of wlw vs other kinds of ships are in the parahumans fandom fic scene, and she decided to start reading it w me following shortly afterwards out of curiousity and finished reading in around may 2024.
I've a note document on my phone that I scribble in whenever I have either a new idea or an expansion to an existing premise within the document. It's organized by a line of space between individual ideas with a basic description line at the top designating either the fandom(s) involved or if it's an original work.
Some of them are literally just something like "[fandom] vampire au, there's something here, figure it out later"
only sort of related to the wip meme that's going around, i'm curious, now: how do you, personally, organise your wips?
this does not feel like a poll kind of situation—it's a 'just reply or reblog and add to the body of the post' kind of deal. please feel free; i'm genuinely curious.
choking, gagging, and moaning on it
And by "it" i mean the little bit of chip stuck on my tonsil
Found this cool notepad on my grandmother's basement fridge yesterday during Easter. There's a sort of indescribable humor to it
"You need someone to pretend to be a parent/guardian over the phone"
Oh boy, I'm so glad I can count on Taylor "I don't own a cell phone" Hebert for this critical task (help)
You are faced with some random problem and the only person who can help you is the main character from the last piece of media you consumed (you can also do favorite character if there are multiple main characters). You can stay in this universe or be in the universe of the character, whichever you prefer, but the problem remains the same and the only person who can directly help you is the main character. That character can call on the help of those they know in their media, but when it comes down to it, they are the only person really helping you. How do you react to this situation?
