âCan You Feel The Love Tonightâ - Elton John
Thereâs a time for everyone if they only learn
That the twisting kaleidoscope moves us all in turn
Thereâs a rhyme and reason to the wild outdoors
When the heart of this star-crossed voyager beats in time with yours

Eliot is used to Parker showing up on cat feet. Thereâs only one time sheâs ever been able to startle him, and that was in Memphis; but itâs been a good three years since then, and a lot of the things that were messy then are tidy now. Not normal-person tidy â that ainât the way Parker works, and it ainât the way Hardison works â but tidy in a way that suits all three of them. An Arrangement with a capital letter.
So when Parker shows up on cat feet tonight while Eliot is in the middle of peeling potatoes for dinner, Eliot doesnât grumble or snap. He only turns his head briefly to kiss her cheek.
âSo if this is a parallel universe, what do you think itâs a parallel of?â says Parker.
Eliot finishes up his current potato and reaches for the next one. Just like he doesnât startle when she pops up out of nowhere, he doesnât protest her non sequitur of a question. âYou and Hardison been watching more of that History Channel?â
âJust to yell at it.â
âYou break the tv, I ainât buying you a new one, Parker.â
Her nose scrunches. Even without looking, he knows the expression sheâs got on right now. âWhy would you ever buy a tv when you can steal it?â

((I am lauhging so hard
crack!AUing the hell out of this))
The day Joly fell in a vat of radioactive gunk, nobody was surprised that he scrambled out screaming about germs and cancer and everybody get away I am going to infect all of you my God this is Chernobyl all over again no I'm serious get away from me
But they were surprised that he turned into a superhero.
"The Jolly Green Giant!" they called him, and he had to bellow "IT's JOLY, IT'S FRENCH, PRONOUNCE IT RIGHT, AND YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO PUT MY NORMAL NAME NEXT TO MY SUPERHERO NAME ANYWAY" because that above all else irritated him.
Ăponine was his Mary Jane, his Lois Lane, but far better able to take care of herself. She kept a pocket knife on her at all times, and could hit back. Joly was rather proud of her. He hardly ever had to rescue her; she could rescue herself. Sometimes he did, though, just because he could.
I think this mostly goes without saying, butâŠ
Just a reminder that whatever happens tomorrow and in the following weeks, a new adaptation means that most likely there will be some people seeing Les Miserables for the first time.
This is probably going to be a tumultuous time to enter the fandom, so please be mindful of that, and welcoming towards new fans!
That doesnât mean that you have to like the miniseries, or refrain from criticizing it. Just be supportive of newcomers! Point them in the direction of your favorite translations, adaptations, productions, meta, etc. Use your passion and knowledge for Les Miserables to help people!
The fandom is most likely about to expand again. Letâs do everything in our power to help it grow!
But by all means, continue to roast Andrew Davies. He deserves it.

"Rainbow Tour" - Ensemble, Evita (2006 London)
There you are, I told you soMakes no difference where we goThe whole world over just the sameYou should have heard them call our nameAnd who would underestimate the actress now?
Okay but AU where Sauron gets captured and taken to Valinor along with Melkor.
â
Newly renamed (though echoes of other names still linger), Mairon has been reclaimed by Aulë, and spends his time among the Noldor, teaching them the lessons he himself has learned. He is reticent, almost shy; but as soon as he is in the forge, he glows with contentment, and will chat about nearly anything. He is friendly and polite, if distant, and many of the Noldor are fond of him.
Fëanor cannot trust him, or his master, no matter how much faith the Valar have in their repentance. For that matter, he cannot quite trust the Valar for allowing them to walk free once again.
