New post today! YAAAAY, I missed blogging sooooo much but I came back home to visit my parents. You guys know, if you follow me on Instagram too, that I looooove the Bullet Journal method, I use it every day for my studies and right now for work too. So why not creating a new bullet journal only dedicated to language learning? Hereâs what are the possible useful spreads I will create in the near future:
Yearly log: probably a vertical spread and for each month I will list the goals I want to reach in each language
Monthly log: a classic monthly log but with the days in the middle, on the left side I will list what are my daily goals and on the other one I will write what I actually did
Monthly tracker: for each day Iâll track how many hours or minutes Iâll spend for each language (color coding needed)
Level 10 fluency: for each language, I will list how much I feel fluent in each category (reading, writing, speaking, listening) from 1 to 10
Resources log: for each language, I will dedicate one page in order to list all the resources I use or I have in store and Iâll also track for which field itâs useful
Textbooks collection: for each language, I will list the textbooks, both physical and digital, I haveÂ
Lag-podcasts collection: a list dedicated to languages podcasts I listen to and I will discover
Favorite Tumblr masterposts: you know that here on Tumblr there are tons and tons of very useful masterposts, so why not creating a collection for them in order to always remember them?Â
What I learned this month: as the last page for one month, it would be nice to keep track of what you studied and understood
Website/Blog collection: I follow too many interesting blogs and sometimes I canât even remember their names, this collection would be teeeeerribly useful for me
Fluency tracker: let this Pinterest pic speak for meÂ
So guys what do you think about this idea? Would you like to see the #langbujo in a new article as soon as I will complete some pages and some spreads? Stay tuned!!Â
How do you redecorate without breaking your fragile bank account??
I love this question! Everything on this list is under $30, and most of it can be purchased from the safety of your dorm room couch.
1. Plants: Plants are my personal favorite decor (apart from Xmas lights). Theyâre inexpensive and look great in any location. If watering a plant every day doesnât work for your schedule, get a cactus! I water my cacti twice a week.
2. Xmas Lights:Â I try to distance myself from people who say that Xmas lights are just âseasonalâ. I have three different strands of lights up all year long, one in each room and one on my outdoor balcony. These lights are perfect for parties, romantic evenings, etc.Â
3. Candles/Incense:Â Dorm room or apartment landlord permitting, candles and incense really help an apartment feel more homey. They also help stave off the smell of your catâs litter box, which is always a plus.
4. Posters:Â Posters arenât as expensive as you think they are, but poster frames are ridiculously expensive. And you canât buy the cheap ones, they fall apart instantly- you have to buy the $40 ones. My advice to you, buy posters and hang them up carefully with pushpins or tape.
5. Clocks:Â Buy a cool clock off Society6 or RedBubble for $25. Itâs my belief that the right clock can help brighten up an otherwise dull-looking room. I bought my boyfriend this Bobâs Burgers clock for his birthday last year.
6. Shower:Â You donât need to use the low-grade weak shower head that came with your bathroom. You can buy color changing shower heads and spa quality shower heads on Amazon for $25. Go forth! Always keep your old shower head somewhere safe, and put it back on when youâre ready to move out. There are lots of great and truly unique shower curtains out there on the internet, but theyâre expensive. Youâre better off buying one from Target or Walmart.
7. Night lights: I am the sort of person who always needs to pee at 3am. I have always used night lights in my bathroom and kitchen because theyâre so much better than blundering around in the dark. Similar to the Xmas lights, they help create that âmoodâ. I have these cute little lava lamp night lights.
8. Glow in the dark stars:Â Just trust me on this.
9. Chalkboard paint:Â Dorm room or apartment landlord permitting, chalkboard paint can help turn your room into a perpetual canvas. A friend of mine from college did this to his incredibly small room, and it looked so good.
10. Beaded curtain:Â Beaded curtains help make small spaces appear larger. We have a beaded curtain hanging in our hallway currently, and itâs great. You donât need a super expensive one that was handmade by the indigenous people of wherever. Just a simple one to put in a doorway or hang on the wall to change your space.

Even if everything is history now
And it all remains just a distant memory
The scars would still be present in my life
Rooted deep inside my mind, my soul
They still plague my dreams and keep me up at night
Even hearing your name make me wanna wish
Demons were just stories to scare out the kids
