Being intentional about who you date is important! And it saves you time and heart break. Remember ladies: we get to choose who we fall in love with ! If you don’t like where you are then you can choose to leave

if you’re dating a man who has made it CLEAR that marriage is not in his plan (either now or in the future) , it is not your job to convince him or wait around for him to change.

This is why is is so important to know what you want BEFORE you start dating. If you want marriage and kids and he doesn’t… ✌🏾. This saves you the unnessicary trauma bonding and releases you from a scarcity mindset. You never want to let desperation lead you to constant compromise at the expense of your own happiness.

You also never want fear to lead you away from something that was meant for you. Keep your heart open, standards high and mind clear 🤍

Letting Go

Letting go does not mean you have to become cold toward life and it does not mean you are no longer open to deep connections. It just means that you are releasing the behavior patterns that cause the type of decisions that you en up regretting. When you go inward you notice that a lot fo your sorrow is generated from the stories you allow to take control over your thoughts and actions. When you let go you release the attachments that give momentum to these stories that disturb your mental clarity. Letting go is a new beginning, where you say goodbye to the past, remember its lessons and focus on intentionally building habits that will support your freedom.

Thinking about how my mom tried to “seduce” my dad when they were in college together by sneaking oranges into his backpack, because she grew up food insecure and feeding someone/sharing food was a big deal with her upbringing with a lot of emotional meaning–

and meanwhile my poor dad is just convinced that he’s been haunted by some citrus poltergeist because why the fuck are there always oranges in his bag he swears he did not put there???
