i apologize to myself for pretending i was receiving enough when i wasn’t.

As I'm getting older, I'm starting to lose my understanding of love. Love used to be more simple and understandable, but now my head cannot really picture it clearly.

put yourself first because people ain’t shit

i want to feel love again. in its purest and most magical form. 

Authentic relationships are difficult to establish for they require us to suffer with the other, to embrace the experience of the other, to learn the language of the other, to come together in that common sacred space. Most would avoid the suffering, most would prefer the superficial. And if through life one is able to create but one authentic relationship they have accomplished an amazing and rare thing.
