Reblogging my own work because nothing will stop me from being trans and making trans art.

Frostbite883 Q: What are your thoughts on Batman stories in general?
No particular opinion, really. There are some Batman comics that I really enjoy -- Miller’s “Dark Knight Returns” was good and the “Batman: Black & White” collections are pretty cool. “The Killing Joke” was well-written and horrifying -- which is kinda why I don’t think it needs to be the one they turn into an animated feature. Batman is one of those characters/storylines that I have no particular attachment to, but I enjoy specific, unique interpretations of the character/setting.
Experimenting with putting down color before line.

Hey, your Bobby Hill comic was recently re-posted on Reddit, and it's the first time I've seen it since training to become a therapist. Do you have a background in therapy? Or a background of going to therapy? Because I have to say, the therapeutic style you used for Bobby in the comic is top notch. If you were a peer of mine I'd offer a few minor critiques, but really, amazing job.
Thank you!
I have been to therapy, and I do work in mental health. It's not something I talk about in-depth on this account (or any other account, honestly) due to the confidentiality of the work. Additionally, who I am on this account is not who I am in my mental health work; similar to how who I am at work is not (all of) who I am in my personal life.
charismaticoutcast said: You know, what’s funny about that is that any time I draw my cartoon self, I make sure to include my gapped tooth because I almost feel like it’s a signature of some sort.
Yeah! When I draw my own teeth (and decide to be accurate instead of just drawing them like raggedy shark teeth) I always include that my left incisor has been worn flat because I click my teeth when I'm anxious.
Hello dear.. Please don't skip my message My name is Mohammed, from the afflicted and destroyed Gaza Strip, where life has become impossible and tragic, and where we see death and pain every moment and every day. Our children suffer from hunger, pain, deprivation and lack of medicine. The war deprived them of playing, school, and their most basic rights. They are now suffering from woes and tragedies. 😭😭 During the war, my wife gave birth to a child and I could not find any milk for him Our conditions are tragic, and we live in a shelter that lacks the minimum requirements for life and is plagued by diseases and epidemics Please help me save my children from the hell of the Gaza Strip and provide them with a decent life 😔 Your assistance, no matter how simple, is enough to ease the burden on us and help us overcome our crisis. Please sympathize with me and donate to me or contribute to sharing the campaign and spreading it widely
please give if you can and share
So if you go to grad school for art therapy, you may end up taking a ferry out to an island to visit an aged psychoanalytic art therapist and present her with drawings of serial killers in exchange for her wisdom.
That's what I will be doing with my Saturday!
I'm giving her a picture of Jeffrey Dahmer and if the trip turns out to be some sort of elaborate murder mystery, please avenge my death.
Also, a collage piece about Edith Kramer and Margaret Naumburg, two early art therapists.

A friend texted this to me "In my dream last night you were in this enormous cardboard Halloween costume that made you look like a section of wall cut out of a retail store. You rolled around while children picked items off your outfit." What a good dream about me.
Dreamed that a soldier killed Caesar in a desert, with a single blow of a sword to the neck. Even though they were Romans, they were both dressed in medieval armor that was completely golden. The soldier went back to Rome, came out as a transgender woman and then proceeded to rule Rome better than Caesar ever had.
Revisiting my "Alien Moon" idea because I'm not satisfied with how that image looks as digital. May re-do the whole thing in paint or color pencil.
