So I’ve scanned the pages of my risographed fashion study zine (you can buy that here) and have got them for sale on Society6!

i'm def not here to defend any of the absolute garbage content in preacher but speaking as someone who is a gay dude, and who has spoken about this with other gay dudes, the entire work absolutely reeked of cassidy having an incredibly intense thing for jesse. what i can't figure out is how intentional this was. it feels absolutely blatant to me and some others i've talked to, but since you didn't mention it yourself i'm wondering what your take was regarding this in particular. thank you!!
Oh, I totally agree! Jesse and Cassidy spend so much time bonding and hanging out and confessing “I’ve told you things I’ve never told anyone else…” and there’s so much emotional connection and tension between them… and then the arc with Tulip and Cassidy happens.
Out of fucking nowhere!
Was there ever any hint that Cassidy felt so strongly about Tulip? Did my anger about the comic’s homophobia cloud my vision with such a thick red haze that I MISSED A MAJOR PLOT/CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT? Like, even though it would have turned Cassidy into another queer villain, that whole arc would have made more sense if it involved Cassidy and Jesse, rather than Cassidy and Tulip.
I'm just kinda running into this blind, but is there a way to get your RJ Hill therapist book? I didn't know it was ever made physical, and I'd love to own it.
I have made a printable download version!

I was previously printing and shipping them myself but when my job switched to work from home I lost access to the office printer (lol). Because RJ Hill is my most popular comic, keeping up with the physical printing and shipping can be a bit much on top of having a full time job, especially when there's a sudden upsurge in interest. So I've decided to keep my fancomics as printable downloads.
Pretty Alien
Ok, so this is going to be the first in a series of pieces. And it has a backstory.
I was working the night shift and it was totally dead and I was super bored and I got to thinking... technically speaking, Sailor Moon is an alien. She's from the moon. So why does she look like a human?
And then I thought, maybe her Sailor Scout uniform is actually what she looks like, but in attempting to describe Sailor Moon's alien physiology, eye-witness accounts were mistaken for a description of a costume, not an actual body.
So, Sailor Moon's pigtails, bangs, and the little whiskers that I've given her, aren't hair. They're sensory organs, like antennae. The red "gems" described in her uniform are actually poison glands, which are brightly colored to gain the attention of predators. When subject to pressure, they secrete a poisonous liquid, kinda like Cane Toads. The "collar" of the costume is actually a wattle that Usagi's species uses in mating displays. It's inflatable!
Kinda like this:
As for the bunny nose and upper lip... Well... her name is Usagi.
The kanji at the top of the image is bi (pretty) uchuu (extraterrestrial) jin (person) and the katakana at the bottom is the phonetic spelling of Sailor Moon.
I'm sure that Kyozuka sensei would be pleased to see that I'm keeping up my calligraphy skills, all these years after her classes.
If anyone with a better grasp of japanese than me has any corrections, I'm happy to hear them.
Nerd rant over.

I never grew up with Simpsons, King on the Hill and avoided Family guy I have little understandings of the first two compared to family guy I wanted to say your comic and art are amazing they feel like they have such heavy lesson to learn and your statement attached about your art and personal identity give me a lot of hope for me and my own art so thank you for sharing it with us all 💕
Thank you for sending me such a nice message! Honestly, the biggest compliments are hearing that my work inspired someone else or that it helped them emotionally. ( ᐛ )و
Hey I just wanted to say I found your comic again-the relationship counseling one, and it's helped me through a bunch of stuff.
I’m glad it could help you. If you’re in a position where you’re not able to/comfortable with seeing a therapist, I totally understand. If you have the opportunity to see a therapist or join a support group, I do recommend it. If the responses to my comic (responses like yours) have shown me anything, it’s that there are a lot of people out there who can relate to these feelings and experiences, and we don’t have to go it alone on working this shit out.

You may have noticed that parts of this painting are done in different styles/with different techniques. This hand is painted similarly to a “grisaille,” base shadows painted with color built up in thin layers of glaze.
My first time-lapse using an actual tripod set-up. I’ll continue to document progress on this painting as I prepare it for a GALLERY SHOW IN MARCH!!
Experiment with making small squares and then weaving them together. MAJOR practice piece. May do more with this, may leave it as-is. Designs based on Paracas textiles.
