help a recently homeless gal keep a roof over her head!

hey, a lot of you know me as somebody who was homeless all of a couple months ago and things have gotten better! we have a place now and i just got moved from part time to full time at my job. however, my mom cant seem to hold down a job and between my stepdad and i, the rent plus other bills are just too high for either of our generally low paying jobs since we were hoping my mom would be able to keep her jobs since she makes double what either of us make. our rent plus late balances and utilities hit right about two thousand and we have a week to pay something close to the full balance. currently between the both of us we can cover at least 1500, but need the other 500 to come to full balance and anything extra (or close) will go to a very high electric bill (because we’re paying for this place plus the outstanding balance from the place we got evicted from), not to mention food and furniture that we still don’t have and can’t afford to get with these bills right now. my stepdad is working on getting a second job and like i said, i got moved to full time at work which means some very little, but extra income. getting this balance as close to zero so we can start to budget between us without banking on my mom anymore and make things work is important and we just need to get through this month! any help at all is appreciated.

ok so i have this hc that’s like immortal!percy except it’s not because he accepted the gift.

we know that the gods are basically manifestations of culture and that they can change and disappear because of changes in culture.

and percys been through horrible things and has done incredible things and he’s basically legendary around camp. and we have fannon where he’s known all throughout ny boarding schools as this troubled, potentially dangerous kid. and the whole country has heard of him as the kid who fought off this gunman and fell from the st. louis arch and maybe they start to make connections.

so picture percy fighting a monster one day and getting like impaled and everyone freaks out, only to remove the weapon/horn whatever, and gold ichor is pouring out and then the wound just closes.

he storms olympus like “i said no, i don’t want this, what the hell” but the gods are all shocked too. because it wasn’t them. it was the people. they made him a god through their awe and fear.
