Today my Advanced Clinical Pathology professor trailed off in the middle of class and said, “If I seem distracted, it’s because last night I was talking with a friend and she asked ‘Who’s that chick in Titanic?’ but all I heard was ‘Chicken Titanic,’ and ever since then I’ve been thinking about a chicken on the bow of the Titanic like Kate Winslet, wings held high. It’s all I can think about.”

This is so funny to me. They just woke up one day to this in their emails. They didn't ask for it. They didn't even want it. And yet it's in the episode anyway. Dugga doo is inescapable.
While it's important to recognise that depictions of mental health and mental illness in video games are often dogshit, and a "sanity meter" flattens understanding of the impossibly complex issues of mental health into a single metric
We also have to acknowledge that sometimes you do just encounter shit that causes your sanity meter to decrease
Unreliable narrators are one hell of an idea. You can just write whatever, and if a reader points out "hey the way this scene happened should not be physically possible if it's done the way this character described it", you can just be like "yeah I don't trust that fucker either."

I think the biggest cheer I have ever seen at a eurovison party has been when we realised that Austria needed 100 to win. I still don't know how many points they scored because as soon as we heard 100- the room exploded and didn't really die down until they were performing again. I didn't want Austria to win but I needed Austria to win.
