I hate TikTok SO much.

A tiktok comment by a person named Mairen that reads, “Not even in a bad way, but I think you need help (crying emoji). If you actually have lycanthropy, it's not healthy to live you whole life a delusion.”

Three TikTok comments; one (by a user named Matt) reads, “Maybe I'm not woke,” another (by a user named Eef) reads, “If you are aware of the delusion, it is not a delusion,” and the last (posted by a user named Invincihic) reading, “I'd say get help, but there's a lot of people saying that in the comments already. Lycanthropy is rare and the people who actually have it aren't aware of it, so there's no way you actually have it.”

A TikTok comment posted by a user named Sheep Queen that reads, “Why is it always foxes? Or wolves? Where are all the believe-to-be flies, bugs, rats, rhinos, lizards, etc? It feels insane that everyone just so happens to be the cutest, most-known animals.”

“Mental health matters” until it's someone who is ““delusional”” or seems deranged according to your logic, huh? “Love thy neighbor” unless it's a therian or nonhuman? When did we as a society deem it okay to harass people on the internet? I understand that it's a social platform and free speech and all that, but did we lose all of our common decency?

I won't go on a rant about how all of these people are being extremely disrespectful and demeaning, but I am going to reiterate that physical therians are valid, no matter why they see themselves as entirely nonhuman, and delusional therians do not you to tell them that they need help.

Stop “reality checking” strangers. Just block them and move on.

P.S. There are more theriotypes than just the stereotypical “cute” ones. I know all of my plantkin, unique species, and conceptkin friends can back me up.

Humans look for love and peace in all the wrong places. I prefer to look in nature. The trees do not judge what I am and the dirt does not shame me for walking on it. The peace and acceptance from being seen by nature is one only experienced and not possible to put into words. Don't be afraid to find your peace my alter humans. The humans may judge but the wind is louder, the trees are kinder, and the earth respects us. Be safe and know that you are loved!
