Please Help

Hi, I’m Jasper and I’ve been fucked up by worldly events. I’m an 20 year old host of a DID system that is currently on the tail end of fighting covid-19 (tested positive August 23rd and on September 5th), along with an unknown uterus condition and chronic pain that has caused me to be unable to provide for us. It is now physically impossible for me to do any sex work, and it’s the only way I’ve been able to provide for myself.

Due to fights with my landlord over basic things required in my lease (lack of clean water, two types of bug infestations, bathroom mold, broken washer clothes washer, dryer, stove and refrigerator…), and threat of an illegal eviction, I was forced into paying $200 over my $685 rent, of which were falsified fees and being charged twice for forced renters insurance, despite the fact I had it filed with them since June 9th when it was due July 21st. Speaking with the leasing manager, I was able to get the renters insurance problem taken care of, but it was only put in rent credit not a refund. This has lead me to being currently in the red at -$155.

I have also learned I will not be receiving financial aid from my college until after the next time my rent is due, along with the fact they took the entire $300 my scholarship gives for for books to cover the “distance learning fee, ” a newly conceived fee to scrape college kids dry that is not covered by any of my aid. I exclusively only used that money for books I could not find for free and rent when there was leftovers, but now I have nothing. Due to problems with the verification process at my uni I can also not apply for loans. That was my only shitty option out of this and I can’t even do that because of their ineptitude and lack of care for students.

While I was usually scraping just by or only a little in the negatives, I’m now in a dangerous zone of being unable to come out of. My landlord has shown that he is extremely eager to evict me and is looking for any chance. I do not have any family that I can ask for help or will be willing to help if asked. I can get food from donations though my college + local food bank and my roommates have been nice enough to spare me some ramen, so I really don’t want anyone to worry about that.

I currently need about $800, split up that is $155 to get out of the negatives, $645 for the rest of the rent not covered by the credit given, by October 3rd. I am currently looking for and applied to jobs I can do online and to open up actual art or writing commissions, so I’m seriously hoping it won’t come to needing that high of an amount in donations.

My Fight Against Cancer and Medical Expenses, organized by Robin Olanna

hello everyone

i am a proud mixed Indigenous lesbian. i struggle to announce this. i know my issues are not that big compared to what is going on globally. it’s hard to see your life as worthwhile when, in the grand scheme of things, it is insignificant. but i fear for my life.

yesterday (9/7) i found out i have cervical cancer. after months of waiting for an appointment, despite having known since something was wrong, due to the injustice that is the American healthcare system. it has completely turned my world upside down + shaken me to my core. with every breath i fear the cancer is spreading. i don’t know how long my own body has been killing itself, all i know is that i need to hurry to get the injured parts of it removed.

my family has built itself from the ground up and is barely managing. especially with the pandemic.. which has taken a tremendous toll on the alaskan economy.. and as farmers, we lack the means to afford the medical care i’m in dire need of. i struggle with my mental health during a normal day, and this news has virtually killed any light i had left. my waking moments have felt like a nightmare. a nightmare with no foreseeable end in sight.

if there is anyone out there who reads this, by offering your help you are saving me. whether it be by thoughtful sentiments or contributions or spreading this post wherever you can. my life is not in my hands anymore.

I’m just super fucking bitter that once the flint water crisis got it’s 15 minutes of fame people stopped giving a shit. The water is still poisoned, people! Donations have plummeted and people have been forced back into drinking and bathing with the water! The medical effects of this are astounding, cases of legionnaires disease have skyrocketed, people are having seizures, people are having weird rashes break out over their body, people (including me!) are having their blood poisoned, and it’s not just lead! it’s coliform bacteria! it’s THMs! it’s all in the water and it gets into the bloodstream and breaks down blood vessels, causing bruising and petechiae and internal bleeding and no one gives a shit anymore and it’s only gotten worse like how many people are going to have to die until people realize this is still a problem
