hello everyone

i am a proud mixed Indigenous lesbian. i struggle to announce this. i know my issues are not that big compared to what is going on globally. it’s hard to see your life as worthwhile when, in the grand scheme of things, it is insignificant. but i fear for my life.

yesterday (9/7) i found out i have cervical cancer. after months of waiting for an appointment, despite having known since something was wrong, due to the injustice that is the American healthcare system. it has completely turned my world upside down + shaken me to my core. with every breath i fear the cancer is spreading. i don’t know how long my own body has been killing itself, all i know is that i need to hurry to get the injured parts of it removed. 

my family has built itself from the ground up and is barely managing. especially with the pandemic.. which has taken a tremendous toll on the alaskan economy.. and as farmers, we lack the means to afford the medical care i’m in dire need of. i struggle with my mental health during a normal day, and this news has virtually killed any light i had left. my waking moments have felt like a nightmare. a nightmare with no foreseeable end in sight. 

if there is anyone out there who reads this, by offering your help you are saving me. whether it be by thoughtful sentiments or contributions or spreading this post wherever you can. my life is not in my hands anymore.

Rent help for Dec. 1st?

Hii! I’m Juna and I’m a 29 year old trans woman and I live with my only family, my mom Betty in her 60s. I recently had some serious dental trouble and it was .. expensive. Donations helped us pay the bills but we had to put much of our own $ into it as well and now paying rent for December is going to be … very hard. Not to mention there’s still 250$ of dentist bill leftover to pay. But we under-paid for november to help with the dentist payment too! My landlady was okay with it, but that means next months rent is 1200$ instead of 900 and that 900 was gonna be hard as is. We need like 550$ and that leaves … nothing for groceries/christmas, either. I’d like to be able to get my mom a set of pots or something to replace our rusty paint-chipped ancient ones from good will. But thats not quite as important as getting rent paid so, priorities! PSA for Switch owners

The latest 11.0 update means that Google Analytics is a thing on the switch and turned on. What that means is that Nintendo has a deal with Google to share with them your data for advertisement purposes.

To turn it off

go to the eShop

go to your profile where your funds and account info is

go down to the bottom of the page

there you will see “Google Analytics Preferences”

select the Change

select “Don’t Share”

Please spread the word. Really shitty of Nintendo to just quietly start allowing Google to spy on users for advertising.
