The homeland of the Tanhì clan consists of icy mountains suspended above a plain veined with starlit rivers, and coniferous forests that cling to sharp cliffs. The mercurial sky is an ever changing tapestry of dusk and dawn.

The first time Arlen Venge stepped foot in a home they’d never known, bound only by bone and blood, they felt true belonging in a universe they’d thought held no place for them. There was no sign of the mysterious clan, and yet Arlen felt the attention of eyes black as night, shadows following their steps. Arlen studied the esoteric stratum of the wild Tanhì territory and extended the scouting mission twice before the RDA ordered them back to base.

The RDA knows the risk of letting their expensive recombinants linger. Not the danger of death, but danger of a lost and curious mind.

They need their own talk show

was handed a new style guide at work and now we gotta use "person-first" language meaning you can't say "lgbt person" you gotta say "a person who is lgbt" and it's very fun and whimsical for me to imagine a world in which this helps anyone
