My friend Mahrah (@mahrahpalestine) is an engineering student. She is brilliant and speaks with a clarity of analysis and thoughtfulness (even in a second language, even while living in crisis), that is profoundly impressive and humbling to me. She holds hope that Palestine will be free, and when it is, she will use her knowledge and skill to help rebuild.

Her father lost his job due to the war, and she does not have the money for university fees. The situation for her and other Palestinians is getting more difficult as the duration of the crossing closure increases, and the genocidal famine is leading to sickness and starvation.

Mahrah explained, "Food is missing from the markets. If the food is found, it is usually unhealthy because it contains preservatives and we eat it for a year and 8 months, and this causes diseases. But there are no other options to do without it. My nephews are at risk for my father's and mother's diseases and need healthy food because they are at an advanced age. It's like a famine, but there is no media to cover what's happening. They killed all the journalists."

Starting this off with a fun fact: most outlaws/cowboys in the Wild West Era were closeted queer people/POC/etc. Because of this, I feel like ALMOST everyone in camp would be accepting of gay people/disabled people/etc. It's my PERSONAL hc/belief. This does NOT mean you have to agree with it xx

Because of his past in Mexico as a revolutionary, he has a very strong sense of justice.

He stands by his morals/beliefs firmly. This will lead to him getting into arguments/debates with camp members (Micah/Bill mainly) quite often.

Despite English not being his first language, he is very well spoken and eloquent when he speaks it.

If someone does him a favor, he's the type of person to feel indebted to that person. It doesn't matter if they say "no worries" or "don't worry about it". He will worry about it. He WILL repay you.

BUT! At the same time...he doesn't like it when people do favors for him. He grew up very independent and isn't used to things like that. And, especially being an outlaw, he's always suspicious of charitable acts.

He doesn't have anger issues, but when he gets angry...he gets ANGRY.

Just because he's an outlaw doesn't mean he can't take care of himself. He bathes every other day (when possible). Whether he goes into a town to bathe, whether it's simply in a river, he WILL bathe as often as possible. He hates feeling dirty.

When he gets frustrated he'll start cursing/rambling in Spanish.

In my opinion, he's a huge supporter of activism (though, I feel like most of the camp members are).

He's super romantic, but can also be distant at times. Don't blame him, though. He tries his best. He's just scared/nervous.

Even though he doesn't sound harmless, he is VERY dangerous. He isn't a stranger to killing someone.

ˋ°•*⁀➷ Hobbies:

Obviously, one of his favorite hobbies is fishing. He journals/documents every type of fish he finds and then compares his findings to a fishing book he has.

Makes his own fishing lures/hooks/bait.

Secretly stargazes when he has guard duty at night. Sometimes he'll get so focused on the sky that he loses balance and falls back on the ground.

Yes, he can speak English pretty well, but that doesn't mean he's completely fluent in it. So, he practices pronunciation of some words every now and then. Not really a hobby, but still something he does in his free time.

Reads penny dreadfuls every once in a while. Usually it's right before he's about to go to bed.

Singing/playing guitar is another one of his favorite hobbies. Especially in his native tongue. It reminds him of home and comforts him. Since he knows it's dangerous for him to go back, at least he can keep a part of his home with him.

He absolutely loves playing Five Finger Fillet. And he's an absolute GOD at it. His hand moves so fast that it's mind boggling.

If he's in a relationship with you/interested in you...he'll show off his skills to try and impress you...

He reminds me of a coyote a lot. His mannerisms/facial structure/etc. Am I the only one? Anyways, they are his favorite animal. Whenever he sees one in the wild, he stops whatever he's doing and just stares at it. Mesmerized.

Loves the smell of the fresh air in the morning/firewood/oranges/and vanilla.

He won't really admit it, but he loves bugs. Sometimes, a camp member will catch him looking through the grass/bushes/dirt for them. He documents them just like he documents fish.

He loves moths/praying mantises a lot. His favorites are the Rosy Maple Moth and Orchid Mantis.

The reason he loves moths/mantises/bugs so much is because he didn't see as many in Mexico. They fascinate him.

(Robbing a stagecoach with some other members of the gang.) "Easy there, chico rico. Give us all you've got—yeah?—and you get to live. Sounds like a pretty good deal, eh?"

(Reeling in a very large fish) "¡Mierda! Fucker's got some fight in him!"

(Micah has pissed off Javier by calling him a slur (no one is surprised)) "¿Con quién carajo te crees que estás hablando? ¿Eh? ¡Te destriparé como a un pez y te daré de comer a Caín! ¡Maldito cabrón! ¡Vete a la mierda! ¡Ratita sucia!"

He'd DEFINITELY be a metal head with some punk thrown in there.

He got a Halo Of The Sun tattoo on his chest when he was really drunk, but he absolutely loves it. He doesn't regret it at all. (It's a little smaller than the size of his palm)

some kirapucci headcanons bc i have brainrot

- they dance together in the living room while listening to classical music, this is a pretty common occurence

- they’re a very cheesy couple and act very married even before they’re actually married. kira gets pucci flowers constantly and he puts actual thought into the meanings of the flowers and colours. pucci melts every time kira comes home with another bouqet

- pucci will go on rants about his plan for heaven and god and kira doesn’t rly get it but he’s a very supportive bf and will listen and just be like “mhm, go on sweetie”

- kira isn’t very good at handling arguments so whenever he and pucci have a fight, he gets flowers after it as an apology

- at first they’re very awkward at cuddling, it takes them some time to figure out the right position but when they do, they cuddle all the time

- kira and pucci constantly argue over the bathroom mirror bc kira just wants to brush his teeth while pucci is doing his elaborate skincare routine with like 133872 different steps

- pucci wears a fancy nightgown while kira has the same pajamas as miles edgeworth, like the pink button up shirt and also the sleeping hat

- pucci loves gardening and they have a little garden behind their house where pucci grows herbs and flowers. he also has a greenhouse for tropical plants and kira got him nice gardening gloves as a present

- kira plays off the gardening gloves as a way to keep pucci’s hands clean and pretty but deep down he actually cares and is happy that pucci has a hobby that he enjoys this much and he wants to be as supportive abt it as possible

- they call each other by pet names all the time. the most common ones they use are dear, darling, sweetie and sweetheart with the occasional honey

- pucci sometimes calls kira “kitty” to tease him and kira gets very flustered whenever he does it

- pucci is very practical when it comes to gifts, he gets kira gifts that he actually needs, stuff like a new pan for cooking or a new vacuum cleaner bc his old one broke etc

-  kira does that thing where nuzzles up to pucci’s hand with his cheek constantly and pucci finds it rly funny but also cute, pucci also takes this as a perfect opportunity to call him a kitty

- speaking of cats, they have 3 of them, one of them is a black cat with long hair, one is a calico and the last one is a tabby.

- pucci acts like he doesn’t like the cats at first but he ends up being very attached to them and pampering them constantly (one of the cats is named perla, after his sister)

- pucci gets flustered very easily while kira is more composed but when he does get flustered, it’s very noticeable. the tips of his ears turn pink and his eyes start shifting, pucci loves to tease him about it

- kira is obsessed with pucci’s hands and is constantly kissing them, he also loves holding hands with pucci

- kira’s main love language is giving gifts, he absolutely pampers pucci with fancy rings, flowers, chocolates and pucci absolutely adores it even if it does get a little overwhelming at times

- they are both incredible cooks and they love cooking together, they do go on occasional restaurant dates, but much prefer staying at home and cooking together while having some nice wine

- they are that annoying couple that will drag on every phone call, they’re just like “okay you can hang up now, dear”, “nooo darling, you can hang up” “no you”

- they do need their alone time sometimes, since they’re both rather introverted but that makes them understand each other a lot better and when they do take the day to be alone and do separate things at the end of the day they’ll share what they did and then go cuddle and fall asleep

i will update this list from time to time when i think of new headcanons, they’re everything to me and i do not care that they have never met in canon HJDSHJDH
