Naori Uchiha’s Mangekyō Sharingan (TW: SA, matricide, Trauma, grief, war)

Naori was a member of the Uchiha clan during the second Shinobi world war era, and she was a badass! With her Mangekyō Sharingan, she is assumed to be the first of the Uchiha clan to utilize the Izanami (a powerful genjutsu that entraps the target’s mind in a loop), as well as its inventor.

Her story is rather sad, and honestly I think a great representation of female grief and rage resulting from trauma. She was bullied for being a powerful Kunoichi (female Shinobi). As she grew up, she was feared in her clan by most of the men, and forced to marry a lustful older man by her mother, which triggered her trauma from a previous attempted sexual assault incident. She came to her mother, the only person in the clan who Naori believed understood her, and impaled her with a sword. Upon her death, Naori’s mother told her, “You grew up to be the woman I always wanted you to be. Thank you Naori.” After which, Naori’s Mangekyō was awakened.

Naori’s Mangekyō is shaped like a flower, as a reminder of her mother’s fleeting life.

Tell me, is there peace in the world in the were you live, or is it worse?” Naori asked the man. Her eyes taking in the terrifying armor that had seen so many battles as well as her sword. The hairs on her arms stood up as she felt the man's terrifying aura.

That girl who invented the izanami. She's a filler character but she's kinda have a cool design and before Sarada she was the only known female uchiha possessing a Mangekyou sharingan
