i know a lot of people are getting impatient for season 5 but guys PLEASE enjoy these final months of theories and guessing and analysing and everything!!! once s5 releases that's it, the show is done. they'll be no more teasers or trailers to dissect no more parallels or callbacks, no more seeing these characters ever again

once the season is out, that's the whole story, we won't be waiting for the cast and crew to reunite for another season and table read

please just appreciate this fun time of everyone getting all giddy and excited and appreciate the not knowing

these characters mean so much to me and i'm not ready to see them for the last time so i really wanna make the most of the time left :')

Okay, behold my glorious idea

We are currently in a new gate. One very similar to lobegate. It is called plaguegate

I have proposed a Gate Cinematic Universe (inspired by the likes of marvel) in the comment section of a post and it was met with positive reception so here it is. And the GCU essentially would be the name for referring to the lore gates like lobegate

Currently in it are the events Lobegate, crayongate, and Plaguegate

Lobegate acts as the first "movie"

Plaguegate is the sequel. One I've titled (I did not come up with the name plaguegate) "Plaguegate: Return of the MMM"

Can we please talk about how Mike has been late to something in the first episode of every season. In s1 it was wrapping up the game and going to bed. In s2 it was the arcade. In s3 it was the theater at Starcourt. In s4 it was school.

What do you guys think Mike is going to be late to in s5? My idea is that the Wheelers start going to church to kinda be supportive citizens and ward off evil, symbolically for the rest of the season and so Mike is late to church? Also for the brilliant irony? Also to establish churchgate? Thoughts??

So, I was rewatching old Stranger Things teasers/trailers to try to simulate the excitement of getting a new one. I decided to start with the behind the scene's teaser trailer for season 5, and got about 15 seconds in before I had an epiphany.

Caleb McLaughlin says, "we're about halfway through filming now." And it's true, they were about halfway through filming when they released the behind the scene's teaser (aka 6 months). And, it's been almost 6 months since they released the teaser.

What I'm getting at is that if I wasn't certain that we were getting another teaser this January before, I am now. This pattern makes sense in my head. Every 6 months release something big, to keep people satisfied, but also keeping up the anticipation. And, 6 months after this teaser in January is summer. Many other Stranger Things seasons were released during the summer. Theoretically, the six months between the teaser and the show release is enough time for post-production.

What I'm saying is we're getting a teaser very soon, and the show will be released during the summer.

Anyway, I'm going to go back to my old trailers, and Byler crumbs now!

I am SO excited to see how the town are gonna act around the party (specifically lucas, mike and dustin) cuz they were in hellfire and last I checked almost the WHOLE town thinks hellfire was an evil cult 😭🙏

Yeahhhh.... I don't think ANY of them are gonna be Mr. Popular in Hawkins....

basically, when I was growing up, my dad would BLAST AC/DC at full volume all day every day 😭 ESPECIALLY the song "Highway to Hell" (it was his favourite). I used to be really annoyed by it, but then I started listening to the songs with him, and suddenly, we would have loads of dance/sing off's whenever (I OBVIOUSLY won them all 😼)Even tho we don't play the music AS much as we used to, it still is a blast whenever we do!!Now, every time I hear an AC/DC song, it goes straight back to those evening battles ❤️

(Then he hacked into my Spotify playlist and started blasting the song full blast on my headphones 💔💔💔)

so my username is split into 2 parts, “blue” and “aracari”

blue because it’s my favourite colour, and the name i went by online until i decided that i don’t care about internet safety (to a degree) and preferred to be called my legal name.

aracari is a subspecies (and my favourite kind (hence why it’s in my username)) of toucan that can be found all across south america, and some species of aracari even into mexico. my personal favourite type of aracari is the chestnut-eared aracari, which are located across the amazon basin (as they tend to nest around wetter areas) and further into brazil. 

this is a photo of a chestnut-eared aracari that was taken in east ecuador (from wikipedia)! one of the easiest ways to differentiate male and female chestnut-eared aracaris (most other types of aracari are only differently coloured in their feathers, therefore this method doesn’t work outside of my aracari) is the colour of the skin around their eyes. in the photo above, you can see that the aracari has blue skin around the eye, instead of the black females have, so you can tell it’s male. the beak size and feather colouration is also slightly different in males and females, but the eyes are the easiest and most efficient way to identify them.

chestnut-eared aracaris often gather in flocks of 7-13, and mostly have a diet of fruit they can scavenge, although they do eat nectar and flowers too.
