King Lear at home be like

In preparation for my going to see this play, I present to you:

Comic titled, "Cursed King Lear: Act 1 Scene 1". It has two frames, digitally sketched and roughly shaded. In the first frame, King Lear says, "Meantime we shall express our darker purpose..." In the second frame, he brings his hands into view and points inwards, with his two index fingers touching. You know, the 👉👈 pose. He smiles, contrasting the solemn and commanding look of the first frame, and asks, "Would you still love me if I was a worm?" My sketches of King Lear are modelled off of Colm Feore in the 2015 filmed Stratford Festival production, my personal favourite version. He wears Elizabethan era clothes, including a neck ruff, and has shoulder length hair.

Goneril: Yes, Father.

Regan: Of course, Father.

Cordelia: What kind of a question is that?
