Made by taking alginate lifecasting molds of my body and pouring liquid plaster into the molds and suspending the casts from a welded frame.

This was originally an exploration of my dysphoria, the physical aspect i feel in seeing my own body, but also the social aspect of dysphoria and being put into boxes by those that perceive us. After finishing it feels more like a celebration of my transness, the beauty in trans femininity, and a celebration of my body despite the persistence of dysphoria and shame from society. tundras are soooo pretty aand beautiful to look at smears of best ever colors on flat and muted greens and yellows.... hard agree with los campesinos like yes take a body to tundra for real......
