I’m putting a message out to all of the saw fandom and just generally everyone I interact with. If you haven’t heard than that’s fine but if you have heard about the global strike going on and are still choosing to post and interact with unrelated things please think twice. this strike still applies to us not just big and mainstream creators. I have seen so many people continue to post about saw and unrelated things. just one week, that is all they are asking from us. After you can go back to posting your usual content if that’s what you want but just for this week please refrain. Educate yourself on what you can do in this strike and how you can help.

February started with false hopes of a ceasefire.

It is now February 15 and the largest medical facility in South Gaza, which sheltered ~2,500 people and had been under siege for two weeks, has been attacked. It is now completely out of function.

We are 21 days away from marking 5 months of ongoing genocide.

There is also Operation Olive Branch, which has an excel sheet of numerous families in Gaza & how to donate to them + how to contact them. If you can afford it, please consider donating and please, please remember to scroll down to donate to families at the bottom of the list. If you cannot give, please simply share as many resources as you find.

It may be a new year, however, Gaza is continuously experiencing genocide. Right now women and children are the main victims. As you can see it is very do-able to spread the word whilst being on theme of your blog so there is no excuse. The smallest of contributions we can make are:

- To use our platforms to spread awareness about what is being inflicted on Palestinians. Not posting about it does not mean that it is no longer happening.

- To avoid posting about rich mediocre celebrities that have either, shown support for Zionism, spread misinformation or have not uttered a word about what’s happening, simply because they showed up for fashion week or any major event.

- Boycotting businesses has proven to be effective. Many corporations have lost billions because of their blatant support for the genocide in Gaza. We live in a capitalist society, but we also have collective power. Both of which has made boycotting that much easier.
