I Miss Them

the new skip and loafer art these days has been so beautiful but the shimamitsu art in particular makes me so very happy. he’s always looking at her with a huge smile on his face!!!! shima and mitsumi look so adorable together. i love how you can tell the art is reflecting the shimamitsu development in the manga. s&l art is always so colorful and pretty <3

oikawa can say he hates tobio all day long but I KNOW YOU’RE PROUD OF YOUR KOUHAI! he teases him all the time but we all know he took the time to help tobio out when he needed it!! we all know oikawa cares!! their dynamic is so silly to me like cousins on opposite sides of the family that “hate” each other but still care for one another…love these guys

Hak and Soowon's relationship is so important to me. The yearning , the angst , the betrayal yet the way they still care so much about each other even when they deny that. Hak and Soowon both play a major part in each other's life. They are both each other's goals and they influence each other's thoughts and actions so much. They cannot get each other out of their heads no matter how much they try to.

i feel so passionate everytime i see any form of media that captures tobio's story so well. there's so much more to him than what meets the eye, and when i see an editor/artist/writer understand him so well it makes me so happy!!! kageyama tobio is an incredibly talented AND hardworking character that never gave up on his dreams. even when he felt like an outsider in middle school, lost his grandpa who showed him the world of volleyball, and was terrified to be excluded from a team again, tobio never ONCE gave up on volleyball. tobio knew what he wanted to do with his life and nothing was ever going to change that. he worked hard, not just physically but also mentally and emotionally. he became someone thousands could look up to. he grew to be such a fantastic person loved and supported by so many people in haikyuu. he's just such an amazing character that i love dearly <33

i think one of the best things about starting a new series is when you had it on your list for so long and when you finally give it a chance, it’s one of the best series you’ve ever read/watched! or when you go back to a series you’ve paused for a while to catch up on everything you missed and falling in love with the story all over again. it’s always so much fun to discover new media! it’s also amazing to finally catch up on the series you have loved for years!!!

today is the 20 year anniversary of vinland saga. this story is incredible. following thorfinn’s journey of revenge as a 16 year old, to a slave learning the beauty of farming, who would later understand the true meaning of “you have no enemies”. thorfinn’s character is so beautiful and so amazing. he devotes himself to a life of peace & to becoming the best man he can be. his strength and courage to be kind is inspiring. yukimura is an amazing storyteller and i am so grateful he took the time to create the perfection that is vinland saga.

the ball boy arc will always have a special place in my heart. it's a testament to shoyo's resilience. in order to become a better player, he takes opportunities, and even if he wasn't meant to be at this training camp, he broke through and made an opening for himself. his desire to learn is what sets him apart from the rest. because of this arc, we got to see a new shoyo during the inarizaki vs karasuno game with his amazing receive that slowed down the game. ball boy shoyo is so important!!!
