I can see romance between them but because beforehand they care deeply about eachother (plus their upbringing) but it also can read as queer platonic. Like tbh to them, it doesn't matter if they end up dating or not in their school, they both know they care abt eachother anyway. Ultimately it's also how they find reunion in afterlife. Both trapped and hurted. The solace of comfort they can found is only between eachother.

I dead ass just had a dream where Spamton Neo and I had to work together to break out of a facility for strange and unnatural being but neither of us trusted the other so it was awkward in some places. (We broke out BTW)

Hi Anon, I'm from Isan. I can actually answer these with more insight despite me being feeling somewhat disconnected with my roots.

1. In my experience (raised up in village, ect) isan people don't really have conflicting identities between Laotian and Thai. We just kinda acknowledge that our dialect is mostly laotian in thai fonts (in a way). My borders are relatively close to Laos, and I went to one province (I forgot the name). They still consider themselves thai. Though I HEARD some central and other regional ppl consider us lesser in a way which I have fortune to not encounter any of that. Last I heard of such thing was 1-2 years ago. This is not confirmed by my experience and are simply old news article that speaking of such problem in the court.

2.i never been to tourist spots often, but i heard really horrid behaviour from Chinese tourists in the Southern region of Thailand. It was old news though, admittedly, like when I was little kids. Agreed with what Zzoupz said, though. Nothing much to add here. Got the opposite experience actually. My (step) dad got charged extra because he's foreigner.

3. I am technically westernised thai. I lived in Sweden for roughly 7 years now and about 2 months ago I visited my home again. I definitely feel alienated not by the people but by the passage of time + changes so that doesn't really count. But general statement is the same. We're not alienated by being yknow out of country. Hell, again, we are envied by better living, ect. Though I do have old mutuals / classmates from years ago try to take advantage of me and made me buy them shits. But still, generally, people are happy/playfully envy of me :3

when it comes to the Isan region, does the average Thai person care whether or not they side with Laos or Thailand? due to the past wars, it seems like the people of the Korat plateau have their own identity—yet from books I read, many of the younger generations feel stuck whether claiming to be “Thai” or “Lao” and in doing so only speak central Thai.

another question is are all the Russians and Chinese people in Thailand all that bad like how the media portrays them? ex: defecating in public, pushing and shoving, public drunken fights, etc. whether you’ve personally dealt them or not, do you ever wish they either not visit all together or just be very cautious and respectful of local life? 

(I think) my final question is about westernized Thais. While many foreigners visit Thailand for either cultural reasons, religious, retiring, food, sex tourism, surgeries, etc., there are many westernized Thais who have moved/visited Thailand. do you think natives sees them as lesser than or as another foreigner? are they treated differently despite having mannerisms appearance, mindset, etc. that’s more associated with the west?

I may not be the best person to ask this bc I'm a Chinese descendant who grew up in central Thailand all my life haha. I can say at least from my friends they don't really care, they are just Isan and consider themselves Thai bc they are born in Thailand (and vice versa). They speak central Thai to people from other places only bc that's the universal one (as other regions also do). I don't think they have to pick a "side" considering we're not in a conflict. idk I've never heard of that before.

I've not had bad experiences with them personally. I've heard it's bad in tourist spots but that's just typical tourist behavior (hell most of the time it's USAmerican tourists that gets in trouble). So not as much as they're portrayed but they DO do that. And yes I hope they still visit but be more respectful, not just Russians and Chinese but everyone

I have an aunt who moved to USA to be a professor for about 10 years before coming back, and I can guarantee they're not treated any differently, they'll always be Thai. If anything people praise and envies them for having the money/opportunity to move aboard haha

Spamton have eye-mouths! The two eyeballs he have in his pocket (or carry around) is just collection. He have collection of all kind of eyes. He never have his own eyes so he think they're really neat!

He still can "see" just fine. Don't worry!

Pipis are egg-like larvae that will pupae into a mimic of their current caretaker. To identify the caretaker. It need long physical contract with the caretaker. If it left alone for too long, it will not pupae into anything.

Parasites is a creature both exist in lightner and darkner world. They're, well, not hostile. But they're in need of host to move around properly. And to live ( normally they can't speak and function most of the time beside trying to find a nearby host ). They're barely noticeable in normal surrounding (like the town and first dark world) but they're more visible in Cyber City. But they managed to camouflage into wire / robot-like.

There's currently two type of parasites (so far): the orb and the beak.

The orb is more docile parasite, when they choose their host at least. They rather choose dead host like corpse or inanimate object. Current known orb parasites is: Seam and Jevil

(Host for Seam is patched up taxidermy cat. The tendrils mimic wool strings and the orb *tried* to mimic button)

(Host for Jevil is a ceramic doll. The texture on the orb is similar to ceramic even on the clothes. )

The beak is similar to orb beside the fact that they look like beak. They perfer living host. They're still docile but they're extremely harmful to their host. Imagine having your will strip away and only time you can do anything on your on (via screaming) is when they decided to open their mouth little too wide. If the parasite ever leave the host, the host will fall in permanent paralysis until the parasite return. You basically become puppet.

Current known beak parasites is: Swatch, Swatchlings and Tarques Manager.

(Host for Swatch and Swatchlings are partly mutated since the feathers and bird-like features isn't in original unmutate humanoid host)

(Host for Tarques Manager is decapitated humanoid host with robot body part. The tendrils mimic a wired and horns is mimic an ear)

The Queen is aware that Swatch and Swatchlings is parasite but choose to tolerate them since their service is pretty dandy. That goes for Tarques Manager too.

Spamton, who isn't parasite, is also tolerate by The Queen though she would bad-mouth him on occasional because he's not robot and she's also one of people that got weirded out by him.

Swatch and Spamton got along okay though. But Spamton doesn't dig in any deeper terms and just stay as platonic homie who would hear Spamton talking about nonsense. Imagine someone suddenly talking about ancient aliens after one shot of whiskey. That's how Swatch feel about him.

Now changed timeline because I have a bit more clear picture. Spamton decided to turn into garbage man / pre-JHC Spamton because he caught sneaking into mansion + stealing important stuff and Queen basically order Swatchling to take him out and dip him in acid lake like Oreo. Now he's partly unhinged but nothing too bad. Just sorta isolated himself for awhile before he found Jekyll and you know the gick. Become big shot and stay in mansion. And also alienated by almost everyone. All of that happened in span of several years ( the JHC Spamton exist for few months. The reason he can't use his wings because he don't really know how to fly and barely use it).

Gordon is given name by Jekyll after he show Spamton how Jekyll got his name from so I'll pretend these two father n son play Half-Life series and Spamton liked how Gordon sound.

After the ending of Deltarune chapter 2, Spamton actually don't change like other characters since he's full fleshy 250 cm tall dude. So now Spamton either lurk in Dark World own by Ralsei or occasionally roaming the town and become cryptic figure. And he still gonna sell weird shits to those people at 3 am yeah.

Oh and he occasionally hop into realities and visit The Crew. Though he perfer to work from the world he's familiar with :)
