I get asked a lot for tips with coloring black people, so i put together a little tutorial! (and bumps my kofi if you found this helpful)
• are not selfish • are not less of a woman • are not weird • are not immature • won’t necessarily change her mind • won’t necessary be a lonely old lady • “a lonely old crazy cat lady” is a patriarchal asshole stereotype:):):):) • doesn’t necessarily hate kids • doesn’t need to give you an explanation

“HA. That sounds dirty”
It is okay and normal to be mad at people you love sometimes. It's normal for them to be mad at you sometimes. What I think really matters, is how people treat each other when they're mad.
My partner was mad at me yesterday. I was supposed to book his ferry last week but I forgot and when I went to yesterday, the reservations were sold out. (He has really busy work days and that's why I was booking it - before anyone says he could have just booked it himself. I have a lot more spare time than he does and had agreed to do it when he asked.)
He was genuinely mad at me. He expressed feeling frustrated, but he never once yelled at me. He never once insulted me. He never once threw a past mistake in my face because he was upset.
He told me that he still loved me when he was mad at me, but he took some time to calm down. And then he came back and told me that he loved me again. I gave him a sincere apology. And we came up with an alternate solution, and we moved on.
I made plans for how I can not get so distracted in the future - because I did mess up, and part of apologizing in my opinion is aiming to do better next time.
But the point is that while he was mad at me, he never treated me poorly. He was never cruel or mean. He understood mistakes happened, but he still needed a minute to sort through his feelings. And that was okay. He was allowed that. I was genuinely upset, and I felt terrible. But he was allowed the space to be mad, and I was comforted by knowing he still loved me even if I had messed up. I used my own coping methods to deal with my feelings.
It's okay to be mad, even angry. It's okay to need space. It's just important to be mindful of how we handle our feelings, and we need to know that we don't deserve someone to be mean to us, even if they're angry.
I finally drew @princefleabitten‘s bnha OC together with my gurl Chiro. They are best buds! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Also have some basic background information about this two, if you like
Tanaka Chiro 田中 千呂 (left)
Hero Name: Maxwell Quirk: She is able to block one kind of electromagnetic radiation, at one time, in small areas. It includes radio waves, visible light and heat.In other words she can create a small room without light or set the temperature around an inorganic item low enough to make it burst. Likes: gossiping about hot dudes, cheeseburger and sweatpants
Chiro is quite a brat. She grew up in the Japanese countryside, were she learned already at a young age to contend with her bunch of older brothers. Her marks and manners in middle school were among the worst.Though her terrible marks, her father made the suggestion to let her enter into their family business, as soon as she would have finished middle school. She felt offended by her father, calling her to stupid to go to high school. So she blew up his wine cellar and ran away to her favorite aunt who lives in Tokyo. Chiro wanted to start a career at her aunt’s bar but her aunt insisted on her to graduate middle school first. After Chiro finished middle school with surprisingly okay results, she decided to apply to U.A. high school out of a spontaneous idea. And she really got accepted for the hero department! Chiro is not overly sure about the hero thing but is always excited to see some hot guys wrestle. Oh dear, this girl really has more luck than judgement...
Shimizu Tsukiko 清水 月子 (right)
Hero Name: Gleam Quirk: She can create impenetrable plasma-like barriers and use them for example like a protective shield. Likes: Science, the beach, skating & surfing
Tsukiko grew up in a small apartment near Tokyo’s water sides. She had the privilege of being the oldest sibling and because of that she had to watch over the younger ones whenever her parents weren't at home. Which was almost always as her adult relatives had to work hard to maintain a humane life for their family. Since young age Tsukiko developed great fascination for science, especially quirk biology. She actually became a huge nerd. She can and will tell you everything about the quirks of all known heroes and how they exactly work. Instead using normal small talk topics she will adamantly interrogate you about your quirk to get to know you. Later she will give you a full analysis about your quirk and an advice how you could improve using it. She wanted to become scientist and just attend to U.A. high school because of it’s good reputation. Her first choice was actually the general department. It contained quirk classes but was more focused on preparing the students for college. Nevertheless her outstanding results in both entrance tests and her high rescue score, the U.A. teachers added her to the hero department. At first she thought that was a mistake but as she realized it wasn’t, she didn’t want to change classes because that would be unappreciative. Her parents didn't like her decision to stay in the hero class, because it’s too dangerous, but still try to support her.
The boy and the bird!✌️
