To his credit, the kid picks up after the second ring. "Where are you?" Hizashi asks, not even giving Hitoshi time to greet him and he waits for his answer with baited breath. "I'm on the roof," Hitoshi gives back, that noise in the background suddenly making a lot more sense and Hizashi wants to let out a relieved breath when pure, cold panic slams into him.
