What really takes me out of a good mlm fanfic is when the male characters call each other “bitch” or “slut”. Sorry but I don’t think that’s how men talk to each other. Yes I know I’m saying I’m surprised that I’m not reading mlm fics where characters call each other sissies or the f-slur. Maybe it’s a policy on ao3 or maybe it’s just so the female reader can relate to it too :/

I have seen this still of Naruto and Sasuke’s final valley fight, like half a dozen times excluding that one shippuden opening and I am so tired of it.

God, I swear on average they flash back to this still every 40-60 episodes.

THE MORE TIMES YOU SHOW ME THIS, THE LESS I CARE ABOUT THEIR FIGHT.

It’s like DUDE I REMEMBER, how could I not? It was really emotional and the conclusion of part 1. When you keep showing me the same flashback, I just get annoyed because I’ve seen it before, I remember and getting immediately annoyed the moment I see the final fight, ruins the impact 😭

I don’t really get how Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi are friends?

Lu Guang keeps things very business and treats Cheng Xiaoshi like his co worker (which they are). However, what makes these two men continue to hang out with each other outside of work? What do they have in common?

Other than the obvious obligation to their superpowers, they don’t seem to have chemistry with one another.

Lu Guang calls Qiao Ling big sister and seems close to her. Same with Cheng Xiaoshi.

This is an old throwback to that one frame during their first final valley fight. The one the animators kept redrawing for some reason.

Anyway looking at Naruto’s expression, I can tell that all those years/episodes of putting his life/goals at the time on hold and most importantly the potential world building, plot, konoha 12 and almost everything part 1/classic Naruto set up hostage JUST so Naruto can chase his man was worth ALL the pain and hardships - that him and the viewers both endured over 15 years.

Despite some “opinions” that perhaps obsessing and chasing a guy who publicly was too proud to admit he was Naruto’s friend, may not had been worth the countless tears and blood shed, Naruto doesn’t give a fuck and clearly feels so giddy and euphoric - because at the end of the day, he mostly got what he wanted and that’s Sasuke with him.
