WISH / RULE

i'm not following the themes very strictly haha, it isn't obvious except for to me XD

you're getting more lore! in religions around the world, ascension to a higher consciousness is a common theme. and some people think, those who are smarter, who are able, have the right to rule and say what can and can't be. are we out of line? are people inherently sinful?

but when you wish to chase the very top, you'll never be happy - when you're already doing your best...the only way you go higher is by bringing the people around you down

art of a character named anathena. she is a pale adult woman with a large burn scar on her right face, wearing purple 4-pointed star earrings and black lipstick. her yellow eyes point to something to her distant left. her fluffy white hair is in a very loose low updo, and white feathers stick out from the sides. she wears a golden collar, belt, and arm gauntlets over a thin, black turtleneck that ends with gloves that end at the ring fingers where she wears a golden ring on each. On top of these accessories, she wears a blue-violet suit-like piece that ends at the elbow with curved, folded cuffs. her lapels resemble butterfly wings with black eye-like shapes nearing the sharp ends. The suit is cropped, tucked into her belt, but extends on only one side to fold and cascade into a tailcoat-like shape around her straight black pants, over her black socks and golden sandals with a low heel. She stands with her right arm down, and the left with an upward-bent elbow to show her closed hand, save for the pointer and middle finger. her colour palette and name are to the right, she is INTJ, uses she/her, and is 5 foot 11. To quote her description: Name pronounced [Anæɵea] from "Anathema," one that is cursed by ecclesiastical authority, and "Athena," the Greek goddess of wisdom [and war] (Merriam-Webster) ... An immortal who studied magic from a young age and honed her skill over centuries once spent working on sociopolitical affairs; she had abandoned a high position for unknown reasons. Speaking of unknowns, there is an uncountable myriad of them. Well, at least, for now.
